Gadgets That We All Used in the 80’s

Up until this point we had only seen those chunky “brick”-looking cellular phones, so this MicroTAC model was really different and innovative than its predecessors. It was the first truly compact, analogue flip phone, complete with 12 letter/number buttons, a built-in mouthpiece and ringer, a design that would form the basis for many of the handsets that came afterwards.

We all remember wanting one of these so bad which is a funny thing to think about now, looking at the cellphones we now have they look nothing like this model, and in another 30 years from now I’m sure it’ll be the same.
