“The years between 1978 and 198s are generally considered the golden age of video games.” During this time, all the classic video games we still know and play today were created, such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Super Mario Bros. Arcades were a very social place where all ages came to play, but once Nintendo introduced a home entertainment system, everything changed.

People didn’t have to leave their house to play, starting the association that we now have with video games- that they are very isolating and anti-social. Either Way, the 80’s were peak years for Ninendo as they continued to change the gaming scene.
