Today, most of us recognize the company Epson for their computer printers and recent line of incredible screen projectors, but if you are a big fan of portable electronics in 1984, you’ll remember this brand for something else- the world’s first liquid crystal pocket color TV.

Also known as the Epson Elf, it boasts a tiny 2-inch screen on which you could watch Family Ties or The Cosby show on the go, or never miss an episode of M*A*S*H. The unit resembled a portable radio but was much more than that.
