Dumbest Celebrity Tweets
Social media has revolutionized the way we communicate, and Twitter has definitely been at the forefront of changing the way we talk and present ourselves to the world. With its fast-paced, short-message format, you never know what kind of things people will end up sharing. And sometimes they end up tweeting things that are incredibly stupid. When you’re in the public eye, every dumb thing you say is visible to millions upon millions of users. Combine that with living in a Hollywood reality and you’ve got the perfect recipe for clueless and out-of-touch tweets.
So without further ado, we present the dumbest things celebrities have ever tweeted!
Paris Hilton
If you’re a celebrity, there are many “normal” people things you can’t do, like shopping. Part of this is because the paparazzi follow celebrities everywhere, making it difficult to get anything done. The other reason is that they’re so rich they can pay people to run their errands, what a life!
It makes sense that Paris wouldn’t know exactly what Walmart sells, but this seems a bit far-fetched. Paris Hilton is actually a very educated individual, but her public persona is built off this idea of being “dumb”. We’re still waiting for Walmart to tweet back inviting her to come to check them out.
Tyra Banks
If a food can be divided into parts, there’s always one that’s superior, like muffin tops. Pizza is one of those foods that everyone loves, even Tyra Banks. Tyra has pretty iconic takes about nearly everything, but she’s lost us here. Pizza doesn’t have a top unless she’s talking about cheese or the toppings.
If she is, we’re happy to inform her that cheese and toppings are available for purchase anywhere food is sold. We have a feeling she meant to say the crust instead. If that’s the case then we’d be more than happy to introduce her to the beauty of breadsticks which are available at any pizza shop.
Kevin Durant
Do you like to go clubbing? It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, some people prefer a more relaxed night in. If you are someone who enjoys clubbing, you go at it full force meaning you put on your best outfit, and dance the night away. Kevin Durant seems to take a different approach to the party scene.
Why he’s watching TV in the club is unclear, and why he picked the History channel is even weirder. Durant is a skilled basketball player, and it appears he doesn’t have much time to look into the details of seismology. Maybe he can take it up as a hobby when he retires.
Lavern Spicer
If you’re not entirely confident that what you’re tweeting is accurate, consider not hitting “post”. We expect our politicians to be highly educated, this includes the basics like what a pronoun is. In case you’re unfamiliar, pronouns are words like you, he, she, they, we, etc.
This might be difficult for Lavern to hear, but pronouns include words like we, you, or it. These words most definitely appear in the Bible, in fact, the word “it” alone is used over 800 times. We’ll keep Lavern in our thoughts at this time, it might be difficult for her to hear all this new information.
Paul Joseph Watson
In recent years there’s been a debate about gender-neutral bathrooms. Some people have no problem with it, while others are up in arms over it. Paul Watson, a British YouTuber is known for his political beliefs, tried to get in on that conversation but made no valid points. A lot of celebrities fly private planes, so we’re assuming he’s never set foot on a commercial airline.
The bathrooms on planes are single-stall, and they’re not gendered. Are they a bit of a shit show? Yes. Is it because they’re gender-neutral? No! It’s because they’re being used by tired and disgruntled airline passengers.
Kesha
Kesha is a gift to this world. Not only is she a kind human who produces great music, but she also produces great tweets. She’s been in the industry since she was young, so naturally, she missed out on some important science lessons. She now takes all her burning questions to Twitter, and for that, we’re very grateful.
We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but there’s no such thing as clear hair. It would be pretty cool if there was, but that’s not how the body works. We wish it was real, that way we wouldn’t have to spend so much time on hair removal products. We’ll wait here patiently to answer more of Kesha’s questions.
Lauren Boebert
Do you ever get super amped up to tweet something out that you forget to proofread? Well, it happens to the best of us, including politicians! Something should have clicked in her head making her realize she typed out three words. What do you think happens when people notice a mistake like this?
Surely it must feel awkward for people with so much power. Do they delete and then retweet it correctly, or do they respond to the original tweet clarifying what they meant? We wish Lauren the best of luck on future tweets, maybe she should hire an intern to run her social media accounts from here on out.
Ashanti
The beauty of hanging out with new people is that you learn something new each time. Weed indeed comes in different flavors, like fruity or floral, but we’re not sure that’s what these guys were talking about. When people say a “bag” they might be talking about weed or just a plain old bag.
Unless Louis Vuitton and Target have decided to expand their horizons, we’re pretty sure they haven’t opened any dispensaries. We wonder how many confused customers showed up at these stores asking them for drugs. Next time, Ashanti should clarify what her new friends are talking about before making any claims on the internet.
James Charles
There’s so much going on in such a small number of characters. People take what influencers like James Charles say very seriously, so it’s important not to spread misinformation. Even if there was a risk of James encountering Ebola in Africa, we’re sure he’s vaccinated against it. As far as the Chipotle part goes we regret to inform Mr. Charles but that outbreak was E.Coli.
Ebola is a virus, and E.Coli is a bacteria, do you see the difference between the two? Anyway, we hope he enjoyed his trip and learned a few new things along the way. We wouldn’t be surprised if this tweet got him in some hot water.
Bebe Rexha
If you say you haven’t wanted to time travel, we don’t believe you. It would be the experience of a lifetime to go back and see how people lived in our favorite era. Of course, there are some major issues with this. It’s unfortunate but human history is riddled with terrible historical events.
A lot of people are fascinated with Paris, the culture, the food, and even the unique personality of the French. Paris in the 1940s wasn’t exactly the place to be. France collapsed during WWII and was under German occupation. Bebe should take a trip to modern-day Paris and go learn about its history instead.
Lena Dunham
Have you guys started planning your funerals yet? Neither have we, and we’d like to keep it that way for the time being. Lena Dunham has been caught at the center of lots of controversies for saying bizarre and offensive things. Dunham herself isn’t even a part of the LGBTQ+ community, while it’s great that she’s an ally, the parade isn’t the right place for her funeral.
The parade is to celebrate people in the LQBTQ+ community, and even they wouldn’t have their caskets displayed like this. Much to her dismay, we don’t think anyone is going to arrange this for her. She’s going to need a backup plan because this one ain’t happening.
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian was once branded as being the least interesting in her family. We disagree with that statement wholeheartedly, have you taken a look at her old tweets? Most people don’t spend their waking hours pondering insect genitalia. Then again, most people aren’t like Kourtney Kardashian.
Now that she’s put the question out there we have to admit we’re also a bit curious, but more curious as to why she’s asking. Even if this question is a little weird, we commend her for taking an interest in something new. By the looks of it other people are just as curious, look at all those retweets!
Justin Bieber
If you’ve ever been too afraid of asking a question for fear of it being dumb, just channel the energy of Justin Bieber. He doesn’t care what people think of him as long as he gets his answers, and we salute him for that! We too have had this question and we’re sure you have as well.
If they didn’t want to confuse people so much they shouldn’t have named this state after an island. We should however inform him that a “road” and “Rhode” are not the same thing. The state was named after a Dutch explorer who called it “red island” after the red clay lining its shore.
Britney Spears
Before Twitter, our weird thoughts lived only inside our heads, now we have the chance to let everyone in on the inner workings of our brains. This is especially cool because we get a whole different view of our favorite celebrities. Britney is a pop idol, and apparently also a Twitter idol.
It seems like she had a lot going on when she wrote this, so much so that she didn’t have the time to divide her tweets up. We’re not sure what global warming has to do with Lady Gaga, maybe Britney knows something we normal folk don’t. But to answer her question, no, global warming is not a good thing.
Rory Albanese
It’s normal for celebrities to have “beef” with one another. Comedian Rory Albanese has moved on from having beef with humans, now he’s picking fights with the solar system. We also hate when there’s an early sunset because it means less time basking in the sunlight. But it is what it is, we mere mortals can only predict the weather, not control it.
If Rory is having an exceptionally difficult time with this fact we recommend moving to a place where there’s sunshine year round. It’s a bold move to diss mother nature, that’s one entity you don’t want beef with, she’s in charge of the whole planet!
Matt Walsh
Matt was trying his best to understand words that were new to him, unfortunately, he still has a long way to go. It’s important to use the correct terminology when speaking about people. If someone is metrosexual it simply means they’re a straight male who has an interest in fashion or is into self-care.
If he didn’t know that it’s totally fine, but what made him jump Metro cards? Matt might be unaware of this, but you can buy a MetroCard at any subway station. This is why it’s important to educate yourself before tweeting! He should add an amendment to this tweet with the correct definition.
Jimmy Kimmel
There are some thoughts that should be kept to yourself, even if your intent was good. Jimmy Kimmel is a great talk show host loved by all, even his fellow celebs in the industry. He talks about his opinions and thoughts for a living, so we can almost understand why he thought this was okay to post.
This seems like one of those thoughts you have late at night when you’re laying in bed and restless. Poor Mariah Carey probably woke up to see this tweet, as if she didn’t have enough postpartum issues to deal with. We hope Kimmel offered a serious apology and sent a gift for the newborns.
Cardi B
We all have that one celebrity we’re obsessed with, but some people are what we like to call die-hard fans. They’d do anything for their idols and refuse to see any negative qualities in them. We don’t know where Cardi B heard this advice, but hopefully her following won’t encourage her from trying it.
Not only does this sound unhygienic, but we’re pretty sure this would have the opposite of the desired effect. Does anyone know if any poor souls took the risk to try and get her attention? If so, we hope she at least gave them concert tickets for their trouble.
Post Malone
When you really love someone’s personality or work, you’ll excuse any of their little bad habits. Post Malone is hilarious, has a great voice, and a unique style. It looks like he’s put so much focus into his songwriting that some other basic knowledge has escaped him.
Maybe singers who are going on tour don’t get the chance to eat fresh produce. The lack of vitamins may have made him delirious. Of course, that’s just our theory. On second thought, he was probably dabbling in some recreational substances when he typed this out. Either way, we can definitively say that a meatball isn’t a fruit.
Elon Musk
Whether you love or hate Elon Musk, you have to admit he’s an interesting character. Corona has changed so much about our lives, and for a while, things felt very uncertain. If you’re a billionaire like Elon you know you’ll be okay no matter how uncertain things get. But in March of 2022 people were panicking for very valid reasons.
Some people couldn’t find basic necessities and were worried about their safety and livelihoods. In a time when our community should have come together to support each other, Elon did the exact opposite. How do you think he feels about this poorly thought-out take today?
Joel Osteen
When we first saw this tweet we thought Joel Osteen might be a comedian of sorts. It turns out he’s a preacher, and likely doesn’t see the humor in this. We get where he’s trying to go with this, and we think it’s sweet that he wants to talk about the true meaning of friendship. But there are ways to do this that don’t feel as off-putting, or confusing.
He should look into getting someone outside of the church to review his tweets to see how they’ll land amongst the non-religious. We can only hope he had a true friend to point this mistake out for him, it’d be a shame if they rubbed it in.
Kim Kardashian
You can say a lot of things about the Kardashian family, but you can’t say they don’t have talent. If you’re wondering what one of those talents is, it’s obviously their sense of humor! If we’re having a bad day and opened Twitter for some relief, we’d be immediately cured after seeing this.
Yes, Kimberly, it would be funny if it was spelled that way, but why were you thinking about that? The Kardashians have been trendsetters for quite some time now, perhaps their next venture is changing the spelling of common words. We just hope she doesn’t teach this to her kids when it comes time to take their first spelling test.
Jaden Smith
We’re so lucky to live in the modern day where education is accessible to most people around the world. Being a child of two celebrities, people like Jaden Smith didn’t need to work much for their fame. His parents can get him any job or gig he wants, maybe that’s why he feels that getting an education isn’t necessary.
We all have our own journeys, and if this is his we’re happy for him! It’s an issue when he tries to generalize his experience to the rest of the world. Everyone else likely needs an education of some sort to get to where they want to be in life.
Kim Kardashian
In case you haven’t heard, Kim Kardashian studied law. It’s great that she’s taking the time to learn and putting her fame to good use. It turns out the law isn’t all that she’s curious about, she’s also taken an interest in biology. Identical twins do indeed share the same DNA, and while it could make it difficult to convict the murderer, it doesn’t make it impossible.
Recent scientific discoveries have made strides when it comes to identifying differences in identical twins. Could this tweet by Kim encourage them to push forward with their research? We wonder what line of work Kim will try her hand at next.
Mary J. Blige
People make it sound like living life in the spotlight is amazing, but it definitely comes with its downsides. For one thing, people are always making assumptions about you. Your fans are constantly talking about your love life, your friends, and even your fashion choices. If you’re Mary J. Blige, your fans take it one step further by trying to estimate your intelligence.
We feel for her, it must be difficult to live under constant pressure and feel like you have to meet a certain standard. Good thing she made some deliberate spelling mistakes in this tweet to throw them off her very educated tracks. You showed them, Mary!
Lindsay Lohan
We’ve never understood this idea of thinking positively all of the time. If something bad is happening you’re allowed to be upset. Hurricanes are scary and have the potential to wipe out entire towns, it’s normal to panic about them! If you’re a celebrity like Lindsay with a constant flow of income you can easily recover in the unfortunate event a hurricane strikes down your house.
As much as we all wish our positive thinking could encourage the hurricane to disappear, that’s not how life works. Tweets like this are why people say that celebrities are out of touch with the world around them.
Elon Musk
We all have random thoughts that don’t really mean much or contribute to a conversation, they just appear. Even celebrities are no strangers to this phenomenon. Most of the time they come in the form of shower thoughts. It’s true that when you look up at the ceiling you are looking at the floor of the people above you. But is that really a relevant fact, or even a useful one?
Elon Musk thinks very highly of himself, so he might’ve thought that he was bestowing an incredible piece of knowledge upon the world. We wonder what other known things he’ll try and Elonsplain to us in the future.
Kim Kardashian
If you insist that you know how everything in the world is made, we won’t believe you. Nobody takes the time to look into the process of how each of their favorite foods is made. Personally, we’ve known that pickles are made out of cucumbers, but it’s okay that Kim learned this later in life, after all, everyone goes at their own pace!
It’s a good thing she has her fans to let her in on all these fun facts. Now that she knows how pickles are made do you think she’ll try and make a business out of them? If so, what do you think she’ll call them? We’re betting our money on KIMckle.
Tana Mongeau
There’s nothing better than matching with your best friend. We prefer picking a matching outfit or accessories, but famous people always have to take it up a notch. Tana Mongeau is a fun, eclectic Youtuber who definitely knows how to get views. We can’t say we’ve ever seen people plan on breaking each other’s noses, but there’s a first time for everything!
It’s one thing to say this, and it’s another to follow through, do you think they went through with the pact? Hopefully, they both remembered so one of them didn’t end up sucker-punching the other out of the blue. We’ll have to wait for the video to come out!
Tyrese Gibson
Technology can be difficult sometimes, we just can’t keep up with everything that’s coming out. The older we get the easier it is to be left in the dust while everybody continues to the next best app or device. But when a 40-year-old thinks an app is actually a person, you can’t help but giggle a little bit.
To be fair, who uses Pandora these days? More people associate this name with the jewelry company than anything else. If you want to listen to music you go to Spotify or Apple Music, can’t really blame the guy for not knowing a third-rate music app.
