The Expedition

Though we have dived to depths nearly impossible to fathom, the area under the Arctic ice is one that has until recently, been hitherto undisturbed, and unexplored. The expedition to the Arctic done by BBC’s Planet Blue II to the area, was the first opportunity to explore this unknown watery world in all its glory.

They dove to a depth of deeper than 1000 meters, deeper than any expedition up to that point.
