Kozlowski’s Remorse

Attorney Brian Legghio, representing Kozlowski stated that in seeking the lighter sentence his client has “great, profound remorse,” and according to Legghio has little chance of re-offending especially since he has support of a strong family. Kozlowski’s parents, a retired Center Line police officer and retired school district employee also attended the sentencing.

Attorney Legghio emphasised that Kozlowski “…did a regrettably stupid, heinous act…” but he also spelled out that Kozlowski doesn’t need to lose his entire life over this incident.
