Bird Masks or Snow Masks?

This mask was not a stylish statement for the fashionable women of the past, and it’s also not a bird costume. It’s actually designed to protect and keep you warm in snowy weather.  But it looks totally uncomfortable, and it’s unclear whether or not it even worked. It’s no wonder this is no longer in use.
