Have you ever wondered why all tires are black? Wouldn’t it be more interesting if they came in more variety and could be customized like other car accessories?

What if your tires were luminescent and lit up the night as you drove? That’s an idea the tire manufacturer Goodyear came up with in 1961 when releasing these glowing tires. Each one is fitted with a row of light bulbs just inside the rim, they were even planning to sell them in various colors.
