While everyone has their own remedy that they swear by, here’s one interesting solution that we’re sure you’ve never heard of.

Forget thinking outside the box, this “Hangover Mask” completely removes the box from the equation. Designed by the cosmetics company Max Factor in the 1940s, is was made to help soothe the faces of actresses from bright studio light without smudging their makeup. Covered with ice cubes, the freezer-friendly headpiece was eventually repurposed for its current nickname “the Hangover Mask”.
