Many people die in car accidents every year. This was a problem back in the ’30s as well, and someone took the initiative to solve the problem in a creative way. The Pedestrian Catcher was fitted onto the front of cars and was supposed to help prevent drivers from running over pedestrians. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as effective as people had hoped.
