In some situations, it’s much easier to stay quiet and keep the peace, while in others you can’t help but call out the outrageous hypocrisy. The tabloids and media are some of the greatest culprits of picking favorites and calling out public figures for their behavior, while others can slip under the radar without any headlines. So Body-Shaming Doesn’t Apply to Men?
Lizzo and Keanu Reeves are two incredible talents in their respective industries. Considering how different they are, you’d never expect the two of them to crop up in the same sentence, but when this website decided to body shame the actor, some serious double standards were going on. Honestly, we’ve never heard of anyone commenting on Keanu Reeves’ appearance, let alone his body. It’s a little suspicious that so-called ‘fans’ were calling him out.
On the same website, they were very happy to write an article about Lizzo preaching self-love and not listening to what the trolls say. Honestly, this publication had no business writing about Keanu Reeves’ body, they found a scapegoat to publicly shame him, but truthfully, they should be ashamed of themselves. It’s all dark side here!
Turning A Blind Eye To Big Theft
In this world, the more you have, the more you are protected. It seems that the people who have great influence and connections can hide their illicit activities very easily. The regular civilian however, is punished to the maximum for the smallest of crimes. When a shopper at Walgreens stole nearly one thousand dollars worth of items from the grocery store, the theft made headlines nationwide. However, the major theft that should have been brought to public attention was kept under wraps.
The grocery store had been stealing millions of dollars from their workforce and due to the store being part of a major corporation, they managed to keep it very quiet. While the man who stole a few weeks worth of shopping for his family sat behind bars, no one at Walgreens took personal responsibility or admitted to the actions.

When COVID-19 took the world by storm in 2020, one of the first rules enforced in most countries was that you had to wear a mask to stop the spread of the virus. However, while some people followed the rules and did their part, others were reluctant to wear a mask. In certain states, some school boards in America had no intention of telling their students to wear a face covering and claimed they had no power. But they seem to have power over everything else…
Many schools have over-the-top dress codes, and when a student violates them, they are sometimes sent home. We’re not sure how covering your knees is considered to be more important than wearing a mask to prevent people from getting seriously sick. The system is a disaster!
The Rich Just Get Richer
This person brings up a very valid point if you ask us. When someone is struggling with their finances most people wouldn’t hesitate to tell them where they can make cutbacks, and how they can open themselves up to more financial opportunities. In this conversation, salaries are openly discussed, as are bills. But it seems to be totally taboo to tell rich people to stop hoarding their wealth.
The truth is, that rich people claim to know exactly how to spend their money, save their money, and make so much more of it. On the other hand, there is an assumption that poor people don’t know how to deal with money. Other people should seemingly always get involved! How about everyone focus on their own finances?
Battle Of The Royal Baby Bumps
For the longest time, the media couldn’t stop comparing the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, to Meghan Markle, former Duchess of Sussex. Meghan was the new addition to the British royal family, and the newspapers were littered with articles about her. However, things became bitter between Meghan and the British press after her father became seduced by the money he could make from selling photos to them. So, the British press praised Kate but came after Meghan and questioned her every move.
At the time, Meghan couldn’t seem to let go of her baby bump, cradling it in every photo opportunity. Someone kindly pointed out that during Kate Middleton’s pregnancy, she was also partial to a bump hold. One of them got a positive headline, while the other was bashed for it. No wonder Meghan fled the Royal bubble, right?
These Two Are Not The Same
We have to admit, this one is quite the reach. There is one similarity between former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the late dictator Fidel Castro of Cuba, which is that they were both leaders of their countries. However, their premiership couldn’t have been more different from one another. While this journalist gave allowances to Boris Johnson as a father and friend to many, she celebrated the death of Castro, but let’s be honest, he was a brutal leader.
Boris might have made some very misguided and silly mistakes while Prime Minister, but they weren’t intended to be malicious. Castro, on the other hand, took away the freedoms of the Cuban people and murdered many of his political opponents. Maybe Julia should just keep her opinions of political leaders off our feeds.
How About We Keep Equality Equal?
You have to be careful what you say these days. One minor comment could offend a whole group of people and then suddenly, you’re canceled. With plenty of education, activism, and condemnation, men have come a long way in adjusting how they speak to women, and they walk a very fine line between compliment and objectification. But when this little girl was crossing the street and saw a good-looking construction worker, she made quite a controversial comment.
This is definitely something she heard at home because 11-year-old girls don’t come up with these kinds of comments themselves. Perhaps it’s time for a little talk between mother and daughter about what is okay to say and what is not. In fairness, Karyn brings up a very valid point.
Date Shaming Is Not Okay
So a guy asked you out and you’re on a wholesome burger date, what’s so wrong with that? This lady clearly thought it was ok to shame her date for ordering water for the table, instead of paying for fancier drinks. Not only did she claim her date was “broke” but she even dared to take a picture of the water on the table! The irony of it is, that she is very happy to let this man pay for the date and not even offer to split.
Another commenter got involved and brought up a very valid point. If this woman couldn’t afford to pay for her meal, she should just be thankful that someone else is happy to pay for it for her. If she wants a soda or alcoholic beverage next time, perhaps she should offer to pay!

My Standards Don’t Apply to Me
Women have fought against the constant criticism and never-ending expectations society has placed upon them. But it seems that some women think that even though their feelings shouldn’t be hurt, others are not entitled to the same allowances. This woman took it upon herself to post on social media about a man’s height, something he cannot change, and told him to “evolve.” When another man saw the post, he noted the double standards of her comments.
He’s not wrong at all! If he made fun of a woman for her weight he would probably get a load of abuse on social media. Did someone say CANCELLED? Why this woman was allowed to get away with this kind of comment we don’t know. Her comments were unkind and unnecessary.
The Standards Of A Toxic Personality
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to attain a luxury lifestyle, but the truth is, you need to work for it one way or another. Why this woman posted about her ridiculous standards on a public platform we’re just not sure. She comes across as an entitled brat who doesn’t care how hard a partner would have to work so she can live the way she pleases. If everyone had this attitude, no one would work these days.
Thankfully, another man pointed out that she probably didn’t have much to bring to the table, but as he replied to her, she decided to call him broke. If that’s not the pot calling the kettle black, we don’t know what is! This girl needs a serious reality check!
Apparently, Men Can’t Have Preferences
Dating apps are supposed to be a place where all sexes are entitled to state their preferences and swipe right based on their type. Some might say it’s a place of dating equality, but this woman clearly thought otherwise. In her height preference, she stated that she wanted a man above six foot, so when she matched with a man who stood at six foot three, surely it would work out? But, it turns out that when she stated her height, he wasn’t so impressed.
After admitting that their considerable height difference was too much for him, the woman hit back with a demeaning comment about his manhood. Then, she proceeded to say that he wasn’t entitled to have the same preferences as her. We’re not sure she is cut out for these dating apps.
When You Can’t Control Teenagers
It’s a natural part of life that girls get their period once a month, starting in their early teens. The menstrual cycle comes with plenty of pain and emotional changes, but instead of having compassion and sympathy for what they are going through, they are often called out for their behavior or complaints. However, one thing boys aren’t called out for is their inability to control their excitement from the clothes girls wear.
In high school, this leads to the girls having to have the long set of rules. No fair! While some schools are certainly better than others, girls should probably be able to wear what they want without boys getting all riled up by their outfits. On the flip side, these boys need to learn some compassion for what their female classmates are going through.
Can’t Finish A Movie Without A Fight
While this is a very funny double standard, there are so many times that it turns into a fight between couples. Girls seem to think it’s completely fine to mention the good looks of an actor in a movie, and when they do it, their boyfriends say nothing at all. Then the tables are turned and the boyfriend says the actress in the movie is good-looking. The girlfriend seems to be allowed to lose her mind over it!
Maybe it’s an insecurity thing and the girl wants to be the only good-looking woman in her man’s life, but somehow it ends up turning into a full-on argument. These girls never learn and seem to get into the same arguments every time they turn on a movie.
May Only Have Eyes For You
There are a few actors in the movie industry that everyone can agree are undeniably beautiful. Two of those actors include Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, also known as Barbie and Ken. While you can’t deny his good looks, it seems a bit over the top to replace your couple’s picture with an image of Ryan Gosling. We have to admit we would be pretty upset, but this boyfriend took it like a champ.
However, when he made one comment about Margot Robbie, his girlfriend went nuts. We can all agree that our jaws dropped when we saw the Aussie actress playing Naomi in The Wolf of Wall Street, in fact, it’s a very natural reaction! This girlfriend needs to take things down a notch, she’s the one who started it!
Too Much Lack Of Trust
When the trust has been broken in some relationships it takes a lot of work to build back a solid foundation. For some couples, it means spending more quality time together and speaking about their feelings openly, while for others it means having an open phone policy with one another. When this woman told her boyfriend that she would be doing random phone checks to build trust with him, the relationship seemed doomed from the start.
To make matters worse, they had only been dating for three weeks and she refused to hand over her phone for her new man to have a look through! It seems like someone needs to deal with their trust issues privately before entering a new relationship. Good luck to the next guy this woman finds!
Why Is There No Hair Equality?
Women have fought to have equal rights for hundreds of years, and while they have come leaps and bounds, there are still some things that aren’t equal, one being haircuts. Men can easily walk into a barber and get a cheap haircut. Women on the other hand have to jump through hoops to find a hairdresser they like that won’t cost them $200 for a trim.
In our humble opinion, there shouldn’t be men’s and women’s haircuts, but instead, you should be charged according to the service you want and the time it will take. Women getting charged an arm and a leg for a hairdresser snipping off their split ends is completely absurd.

Many journalists write very personal articles about their private lives, but there is an understanding that airing your dirty laundry in public can generate backlash. Molly Gunn wrote what she thought was a a lighthearted article about her possible lack of attraction to her husband and the challenges of life as an older married couple. When she noted how he looks different now to his past good looks, she clearly didn’t expect anyone to come after her. Then the trolls really came a knocking, and she wasn’t pleased.
Instead of gaining support and understanding from readers, they turned on her, body-shamed her, and rallied around her husband. Instead of just accepting people’s sympathy for her husband, she complained about the lack of body positivity! You can’t say your husband isn’t good-looking and then be upset when someone calls you out!
My Debt Is Not Your Business
It’s not every day that The White House calls out individual people on Twitter, but when they do, you know it’s got to be something worthy of their time. When President Biden’s plans to forgive some student loans came under scrutiny, some of the criticism came from people who shouldn’t have been talking. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the move would be completely unfair, but what she didn’t mention is that her own debts were forgiven.
When The White House saw her go on national TV and explain how Biden was in the wrong, they snapped back with an amazing Tweet that noted her $183,504 PPP loans had been forgiven. It seems absurd that someone who was given great help from the government believes that other people shouldn’t get the same.

People do what they have to to support their lifestyle and their families. What they choose to do as a profession isn’t anyone else’s business, and if they are not causing harm to anyone while doing it, why does it matter? Lionel took to social media to complain about the sexual content platform, OnlyFans. He said that it should be banned and the workers should be imprisoned.
That’s quite a serious sentencing if you ask us. But, when someone found the same user contacting creators to get the price for their subscriptions, things started looking fishy. Voting by mail in the United States has been a longstanding way to cast your absentee votes, but in recent years, claims of voter fraud have had plenty to do with mail votes. This person took it upon themselves to speak for all people and exclaim that voting by mail should not be allowed. But one person in the comments brutally destroyed them with one very simple comment.
Someone else claimed to know that despite their preaching, they have voted by mail for the last 10 years! The hypocrisy can’t help but make you laugh. Perhaps the people need a better mouthpiece and for their members to actually participate in what they are preaching.

Some have claimed that they feel uncomfortable and it’s not the place for a transgender person. He insisted that he didn’t want to see a man in the ladies’ bathroom when taking his 3-year-old daughter, but the irony is, that he is a man in the ladies’ bathroom! Perhaps he wanted to be the only one with the exemption, and other dads have to take their little girls to the mens?

Local restaurants tend to have a much greater problem in staying cash flow positive without the financial backing of investors and other giants in the hospitality industry. Especially after COVID, there has been a push to support local restaurants, and UberEats spent millions on a campaign asking popular celebrities to tell their fans to order from their local spots. But it turns out that UberEats are also guilty of not helping these places!
When people order in from their local restaurant via UberEats, they take a whopping 30% of the final charge! Instead of spending money on a campaign to tell people to eat local, perhaps they should spend that extra money on lowering their fees?!
It’s Only Fake News When You Choose
Former President Donald Trump never hesitates to call out fake news if it’s something he doesn’t agree with, or it isn’t twisted in his favor. To be honest, Trump has so many contradictions that it’s hard to keep up. However, it was quite surprising when he decided to praise the New York Times, after bashing it so many times for fake reporting. But, it seems that Trump can’t even get his opinions straight.
Considering that the study was performed in another country, and the fact that he was responsible for halting similar studies in the US due to going against his anti-abortion stance, Trump really shouldn’t have been celebrating this one. But then again, it’s just another hypocrisy in Trump’s books.
When The Nails Cannot Wait
The list of public figures and politicians who broke COVID-19 protocols to do something that worked for them seems to be endless. While the vast majority of the world was staying home to do their part, it was the people who set the rules that were always breaking them. This Texas mayor realized that she was overdue for her nail appointment, and she didn’t have any problem breaking her own rules.
Whether it was a chipped nail or just her regular polish change, there was absolutely no need to attend the nail appointment when social distancing, after all, she isn’t even seeing anyone in person! Branson’s comment did give us a good laugh though.
Rallying for Indoctrination at School
Brigitte Gabriel is an American-Lebanese activist and her work has led her to call out and fight against certain regimes, governments, and some religious practices. However, when she decided to compose another controversial Tweet, her message raised some eyebrows. She strangley believes it should be compulsory for public school children to recite the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance every single day. Required? Forced? Compliant Robots? All the words that Brigitte loves!
People weren’t so concerned with her wanting American schoolchildren to become more patriotic, they were more interested in her blatant double standards. If you tell people that the good guys don’t force others into compliance, maybe don’t Tweet about making country declarations compulsory in school? Brigitte probably needs to align her opinions before Tweeting.
Protect The Fetus, Just Not Mine
There seems to be a running theme these days of people vehemently protesting something, but behind closed doors, they are doing the very thing they are supposedly against. Abortion laws are an extremely controversial and sensitive topic in the United States and many people feel they have the right to tell others what to do with their bodies. This anti-abortion activist claimed she wanted to protect babies, when she did exactly the opposite.
This story is actually extremely disturbing and we cannot fathom why anyone would have dead fetuses at their home. Regardless of her sick intentions, it’s appalling that she is fighting other women for choosing abortion, while she is potentially conjuring up something evil at her home.
Maybe Remove Yourself From the Workplace?
Candace Owens is a conservative commentator and very well-known for her polarizing opinions. Despite being an outspoken activist and working with plenty of people within her organization, she claimed that women are a “distraction” in the workplace and have made things worse for men since they joined. It seems that many Republican women have made careers out of saying that women shouldn’t have careers.
For Candace, it’s one rule for herself and another for everyone else. We can’t imagine she’s the most delightful person to have in the office, many people at her company probably want to see her removed instead of the other women! It takes a special type of woman to tear down all other women.
Not Your Sexuality, Not Your Business
Why people feel the need to push their opinions on other people is beyond us. This man felt it was his right to call out pro basketballer Dwayne Wade’s son for his choices about his identity and sexuality. Everyone is entitled to live their lives the way they want to, no matter how old they are, and credit to Wade and his wife for giving their son the acceptance and love he deserves. Despite this man claiming that an 11-year-old should not know the meaning of sexuality, he proceeds to push heterosexuality onto this child.
On the other hand, you have rapper Kodak Black forcing his young child upon grown women, but no one makes any noise about it because it isn’t gay. It goes to show that Dwayne Wade is a great father and Kodak Black should probably get his custody of his kid removed.
Everyone Else Should Accept The Worst
Former Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie was extremely vocal during the COVID pandemic, but it wasn’t people’s health and safety he was worried about, it was the economy. During news interviews, he said “There are going to be deaths no matter what,” but the most important thing is that people went back to work. Christie’s misguided comments caused a major outcry, but when the former Governor contracted COVID himself, his response was quite the opposite.
Instead of continuing with work and accepting that he might die like he told everyone else, Christie went and sought treatment to get over the virus. Considering the governor wasn’t in the best shape, we can’t imagine he had an easy time with sickness. In this case, karma is a dish served with COVID.
