This whole situation is laughingly similar to myths of princesses locked in towers. Maybe food was even passed up during meal times. After an intense camping trip, this driver forgot his bear mace on the dashboard of his car. The aerosol is like pepper spray, but for bears instead of humans. In this case, the unused canister baked in the hot sun for a whole weekend. The result was a small explosion, a coating of toxic foam, and a severely cracked windshield.
In general, all aerosols pair badly with high heat. A bottle of hairspray would also have exploded if it was left in a hot car for 48 hours. But with bear mace, the contents are a little more toxic. It’s considered a pesticide in the US. Though serious campers and park rangers might carry it with them, common sense and awareness is a much better weapon against wild animals.

Looking into your washer and seeing a lone airpod is a special type of panic. Because once you start a washing machine, the door locks. Everything inside is stuck there until the cycle is over. So even if you see the airpod right at the beginning, all you can do is wait. Hopefully, airpods can also be saved by a bag of uncooked rice.

These homeowners got their doors painted when remodelling their home. But the workers forgot to cover the floors with plastic. Now they’re going to have to deal with another renovation project. Though the diagonal lines make for a pretty pattern, the owners probably want their hardwood floor back. You would think professional painters were above making this kind of rookie mistake.
Luckily, the whole house is clearly in the process of getting remodeled so one more item on the list shouldn’t be a big deal. But there’s no telling if this paint will actually come off.
