However, we still walk away with a greater appreciation of the joys and challenges of being a couple. For these people, there’s never a dull moment. Some of these chaotic husbands are funny and others make us cringe a bit, but we can’t deny these guys certainly have imagination. Rocking Horse Winner
This picture may remind you of your childhood. When we were kids some of us imagined our rocking horse would come to life. This husband shows that it’s never too late to get some motion from a favorite toy. This guy and his rocking horse are really going somewhere, thanks to his wife.
Perhaps it’s time to turn an old adage on its head and say behind every great woman is a man. In this case, it’s a man with a play horse. Does she mind that her husband is slowing her down? Perhaps all of the fun is worth it. What started with an outing ended up being a mini-parade.
Baring It All
During the pandemic, we all enjoyed laughing at stories about Zoom fails. From lawyers unable to turn off their cat filters to newscasters getting distracted by their kids, we saw a lot of amusing behavior. Nothing could be more embarrassing than a naked photobomb during a Zoom call. From what we can tell with this sign, it’s obviously happened before.
The sign wasn’t very specific. By “walk out naked” it could mean outside. If the husband walked outside naked, that wouldn’t interrupt her zoom call, but it would create new problems (this time with the neighbors). We wonder what other colorful events happen in this household. They could start a reality show, but we’re sure the nudity would be censored.
The Spirit of Christmas
We always hear people encouraging others to get into the holiday spirit. However, this guy’s idea of the Christmas spirit may be a bit literal for most people’s tastes. We’re not sure if the wife got to sign off on the Christmas cards before they were sent, but clearly the husband seems to have an overactive imagination.
How would we react if we received a card like this? According to this guy, being filled with the Christmas spirit is something that may require an exorcist. We aren’t sure if this is a joke or if the guy really means it. If he’s kidding, are the neighbors aware of it? We’d like to know a bit more about these people–but we may want to keep our distance.
Tough Medicine
This practical joke is a little question. If it were only for toe clippers or dental floss and not medication, it might earn a chuckle. We can’t imagine how the wife would react to this. Doesn’t a good spouse encourage taking meds? Instead, the husband has turned it into a complicated game.
This prank must have an escape route. He must not have put all the meds in there. People either love or hate claw machines. When we see them in public, the prizes are usually not that interesting. In this case, the player would be highly motivated to win. Meds are important, so the stakes are higher for this claw game.
(Not) Working Like a Dog
When the wife is working away, the husband is at home inventing things. We have to take our hats off to him–this is a clever way to help the dog do his business in the dark. However, when the wife is doing her 9 to 5, she may not appreciate the way her husband is using his free time.
She might be a bit dismayed that she’s going to be expected to walk the dog at night when she comes home from work. After all, he has a light fitted to his head, so he can see when he goes, though she might need a flashlight to pick up after him. Now the wife may have to do double duty. Not sure she’s thrilled, but this is clever.
Something Fishy
We love goldfish crackers, they may not be your favorite snack but they certainly are ours. This husband thinks they’re remarkably versatile. According to his cooking instructions, they can be used as a replacement for breadcrumbs in casseroles. This actually might be a tasty trick! It’s certainly eye-catching. Though they seem to be able to stand in for breadcrumbs, we’re not sure how they’ll bake.
Crumbs just add a different effect, texture, and flavor than whole crackers. We wonder if this is a tuna casserole–how appropriate! The kids may just pick off the goldfish crackers and forget about the casserole. This could mean the rest remains uneaten, which defeats the purpose of adding them on top!
Making Up
We’ve all heard the saying, “don’t go to bed mad.” Many couples will spend most of the night talking it out to avoid trying to sleep while carrying a grudge against their partner. We’re not sure if the couple went to bed angry, but one of them woke up in a huff and wasn’t shy about expressing it.
Making up is hard to do. Making the entire bed was definitely too much for this guy given the mood he was in. We wonder if she left her side of the bed unmade out of spite. If this fight goes on, it saves him half the work. It may be worth it in the end.
Dog Day Afternoon
This husband wanted to keep his wife company when he was gone. He also wanted to put a smile on her face, and his solution was to combine her two favorite family members by putting his clothing on the dog. We’re not sure if this dog is going to take out the garbage or mow the lawn, but it probably cheered her up.
The pup may not be the best conversationalist, but he’s probably a great companion. They say clothes make the man, though we’re not sure how much that applies in this situation. He certainly looks cute in them, this would definitely lighten anyone’s mood! The next time the dog fetches his slippers, he may wear them!
Home A-Lawn
This picture requires a bit of explanation. The husband is redoing the lawn and needs to kill off the grass. The neighbors may worry that their neighbors are letting the lawn go, so this sign was a fun way to let them know it would soon be lush and attractive once again.
This is a case of a wife covering up for a husband. However, his behavior isn’t eccentric or questionable, it’s just an unsightly step in giving the lawn a makeover. We like this sign and can relate. We’ve all waited for our devices to reload, and we know landscaping projects can be complicated. This should reassure the neighbors and keep them from calling their HOA!
Measuring Up
We often find ourselves looking for a tape measure or yardstick to determine the width and length of things. It can be frustrating if we need the information quickly. This husband came up with an ingenious hack for figuring out the size of the kitchen table. It looks like the husband’s hunch was correct. The length of the table was about the same as the height of the child.
It was a bit longer by a few inches, but close enough. We bet the kid had a good time and probably felt he was helping out. Who needs a yardstick or tape measure when you’ve got a kid who’s willing to help out?
Custom Made
Custom cards are great. You can add your own design to express your personality. This husband decided to cut to the chase. Why pretend the purpose of this card is anything other than a way to get some money? Either he’s not confident about his artistic ability or just likes things that are plain, simple, and direct.
This could have been made by a first-grader, but the husband doesn’t seem to mind. We like the smiley face next to the word money. That about sums it up. Money is something we all want to have and we’re happy when we have it. What other design does a card need to have? Maybe we won’t overthink it and put smiley faces and dollar signs on our own credit cards.
Gender Reveal Fail
The announcement of a baby on the way is greeted with great joy and celebration. There are many parties–gender reveal parties, baby showers, and more. This husband decided to inject some humor into these celebrations. He wasn’t satisfied with making a funny remark, he wanted to put it on a cake for everyone to see.
We have to laugh at this, and by the way, it’s a very pretty cake. We like the colorful circles and the letters with the perky font. We hope the hosts have a sense of humor. This isn’t the cringiest thing we’ve ever seen, but we can understand why the wife is rolling her eyes.
See No Evil
Okay, maybe there’s an explanation for this, the reality is far too bizarre for us to believe. We don’t want to think the husband is taking advantage of the fact that his wife can’t see what’s going on. At the same time, we can give him some credit for the fact he’s not going to a strip club behind her back.
Perhaps this wasn’t a strip club at all. Maybe someone on social media just wanted to make a snarky joke. We’re the visually impaired would understand what kind of club they were at. Perhaps she was feeling adventurous, who knows? Some couples enjoy spicing things up!
Left to His Own Devices
Taking away a smartphone from a kid is a common form of punishment. Often it’s a logical consequence–if a kid misses their curfew because they were on their phone or weren’t listening to a parent’s instructions, it makes sense to take away their phone for a day. However, this dad really wanted to rub it in. He probably finds it funny, but the kid must be annoyed.
We doubt the kid is too happy about being teased like this. Perhaps the kid didn’t want to talk to him so dad had to leave this note. He could have chosen a traditional letter form rather than remind him of Whatsapp. We salute his imagination, and we’re sure they’ll both have a laugh about this in time.
X-Rated Food
Wives usually like it when their husbands make dinner, though they may brace themselves for what kitchen creations they will come up with. However, there is nothing wrong with this homemade Chinese food. Beef broccoli and rice sound terrific. The presentation…well…we certainly hope that his mother-in-law isn’t coming over. We can tell he really spent a lot of time on this. It may be delicious, but it’s also ridiculous.
We have to salute the husband’s sense of humor and culinary abilities. Perhaps he has a one-track mind and can’t help himself. Maybe he was hoping for a romantic dinner for two. If this is his idea of romance, we can only imagine what happens after dinner.
Having a Ball
From one vulgar joke to another. Family weddings can be great fun and a chance to catch up with people we don’t see too often. On the other hand, they can be a real drag if we don’t like everyone in our spouse’s family. The husband decided to have a bit of fun with his cousin’s wedding invitation.
Either the cousin getting married had a big laugh over this or this couple won’t get invited to any future family event. Maybe that’s why the husband did this. We think a band should write a song with this name so people can tell this joke more often when they make song requests.
Be Careful What You Ask for
This wife had a modest request for a Christmas present. Maybe she was frustrated or maybe she just didn’t want her husband to spend too much money. Well, she got what she asked for! Her husband fulfilled her request to the letter, however, he went above and beyond what she probably expected.
These earrings look like they belong in a museum gift shop. However, the rather unscientific name indicates this may just be a joke. We wonder if she’ll give people who compliment her on the earrings this long explanation. Most likely, she will just tell the story of her husband actually giving her something she asked for. She may think twice about next year’s request.
I’m Batman
Those of us who have been to wine and palette events enjoy the socializing, the wine, and the opportunity to create a unique work of art. This guy’s work, however, was unlike any other that evening. Perhaps he went more for the wine than the painting. At least he seems to be enjoying himself.
Maybe next time, the wife will let the husband stay at home and watch ESPN. We see a television set in the background playing a football game. Perhaps that’s what he was watching while others were painting the trees. At least he got a chance to pay tribute to his favorite superhero.
The Shower Scene
Many of us remember the scary shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film Psycho. But this husband pulled a reverse shower scene, he had someone pop out from behind the shower curtain instead! We don’t know what the wife was doing when she took this picture, but it must have startled her.
This looks pretty scary. We guess characters from Star Trek probably need to go to the bathroom or shower, too. We appreciate the joke, but few people want to be confronted when they are on the toilet or even putting on their mascara. Where did he manage to snag this life-size cut out of Worf in the first place?
You Can’t Miss It
Couples often split chores. One will cook, and the other will clean up. One will shop, and the other will put stuff away. This time, it didn’t exactly go according to plan. There were some strange items in the kitchen pantry. Perhaps all the blue pasta boxes caused the husband to go into auto-pilot.
Did his wife notice the mistake when she started making dinner and grabbed a box of pasta? Or did she notice when she couldn’t find her tampons in the bathroom? Either way, this must’ve caused some amusement and inconvenience. We’re glad this was straightened out in the end. Who wants to make pasta in the bathroom or cook with Tampax for dinner?
Gingerbread Men
When we say gingerbread men, perhaps we really mean gingerbread people. After all, in most cases, they aren’t anatomically correct. But when this husband took a stab at making gingerbread people, he decided to specifically make a gingerbread man–or at least a part of one. We’re not sure what grandma thought of this.
It’s not clear whether the husband intended the cookie to be shaped this way or if it was just a funny mistake. “Most of all you have to hide it from the kids,” to quote a Simon and Garfunkel song. One thing’s for sure, we certainly wouldn’t want to assemble these gingerbread men!
(Not So) Pretty Picture
Sometimes a piece of art can create the mood for the room it’s in. This wife wanted a picture that would complete her floral bathroom, however, the picture her husband put up looked like a scene from a potty horror movie. In any case, it doesn’t seem to give a sense of inner peace.
While startling, it’s a refreshing change from traditional boring bathroom art. It doesn’t try to distract us from the fact we are in a bathroom and isn’t excessively nice and pretty. We think there should be a potty horror genre film and art. It’s likely to catch on and is certainly unforgettable.
Forever Young
There are few things more grown up than going to a home goods store. Kids usually get bored when they accompany their parents on these errands, but adults who are young at heart or have an immature sense of humor can have loads of fun at these stores. This little prank reminds us of the kid telling vulgar jokes in 8th grade.
It’s no secret that people like to put up inspirational messages in their homes. This guy was inspired to send a very different kind of message. It’s so silly it makes us laugh and his wife seems to be amused judging by the fact she shared it online. We think the “goals” sign next to it really completes the message. Maybe the goal is to get up off our asses. Good advice.
Industrial Strength
People have very different ways of approaching the same tasks. When asked to beat some heavy cream, the regular whisk or mixing machine wasn’t enough. This husband had to go to the garage and get his power tools for the task. This certainly seemed to have done the job, but we hope he scrubbed down the tools first.
We wonder if the result was industrial-strength whipped cream. This certainly would stand up atop any pumpkin pie. We can’t say this is a wrong approach, but we wonder why the mixer wasn’t enough. Sometimes people are just that attached to their tools, why not let tools do double duty in the kitchen?
Elf Off the Shelf
Some people love the elf on a shelf, they’re cute little Christmas decorations with an adorable rhyming name. However, some have an inexplicable hostility towards these innocent dolls. This was the case with the husband who was left alone with the elf on the shelf. Looks like the outcome was tragic.
We don’t know who was on the scene when it happened. It seems that Barbie may be implicated in a hit-and-run, we recognize her pink car. Perhaps the elf fell from the shelf and into the path of Malibu Barbie and Ken’s car. There are too many unanswered questions. We bet the husband isn’t talking.
Hang It out to Dry
We don’t know why the husband was driven to do this. Perhaps he was tired of hanging laundry on the clothesline OR Maybe the dryer didn’t work. Perhaps his curiosity got the better of him. We have to emphasize that the microwave is for food only, not for drying clothes. Now the shirt is covered in burn marks.
We don’t know why this guy wasn’t aware that he shouldn’t microwave clothing. Maybe he panicked. Would he put a jacket in a regular oven? Is his underwear on a grill? Sometimes we want to wear something so badly that we want it to dry right away, but patience is a virtue. In any case, this will keep us from trying to microwave our clothes.
All You Can Eat
It’s true that many things are cheaper the more of them you buy. However, it’s a good idea not to get too greedy. Otherwise, you may end up with a lot of perishable items that need to be consumed by a certain date. But this is ice cream. We’re sure there will be many volunteers to work through this supply of Ben and Jerry’s.
It’s great to lock in savings by buying things on sale. However, if you eliminate space for other needed items, it kind of defeats the purpose. So what is the family to do with all of this ice cream? Perhaps they should throw a party. Their kids might suddenly become very popular. Speaking of the kids, we’re sure they were thrilled by this discovery.
Meet, Greet and Eat
Some people don’t like eating things that used to be alive. Imagining eating something that once had a face is too much to bear for some. However, this family has no choice. They will be greeted by eye contact from future meals. This is both creepy and cute. They look like cartoon characters!
We love the googly eyes. The wife and the kids must have gotten quite a surprise. We also wonder if the kids got emotionally attached to the items in the fridge. They might not have much of an appetite after humanizing these snacks. This is a prank to pull at your own risk!
Spider Cat
There are many legends about cats. Our fearless furry friends are said to have nine lives, there are even stories about cats falling from heights unscathed. Though we certainly wouldn’t want anyone putting our pets to the test. This looks harmless enough, but it must annoy the cat. They’re not exactly known for being tolerant of human antics.
The fact the wife walked in on the husband doing this makes us wonder if he would have put the cat through other death-defying feats. We certainly hope not. If this guy has a Spiderman obsession, he should get a pet tarantula instead.
Just An Ordinary Family Outing
It’s great for parents and kids to spend some time outdoors together. Taking a kid for a walk is a wonderful way to bond and appreciate nature. However, we’re not sure what this dad was thinking when he did this with his daughter. We know his heart was in the right place, but perhaps he should have told her to stand and observe from afar.
We feel for this girl. She asked to touch the water, and while she probably didn’t expect this it’s clear she was having a good time. We’re sure everyone was safe and it ended well, especially since the wife share the photo online.
Our Drink Of Choice
Ha ha, get it? The dog’s a martini because of the cone and tennis ball. Look, we’re not saying it’s the most clever joke, but it’s a pretty good one! Plus, look at that smile! This dad joke gets two paws up from us. Though we can hear the eye-rolling from their kid on the other end of that convo.
Sometimes making light of a bad situation is the only way to cope. We’d be pretty miserable if we had to wear that cone, too. Good thing dad humor was there to save the day and put a smile on someone’s face, including the family dog!
Safety Isn’t A Joke, Dad!
This is completely insane, but also pretty funny. This dad had to take his son from point A to point B without a car seat, so he found a way to do so. You have to give him credit for doing something entirely creative. We’re positive you’ve never seen this done before. He was also smart for leaving his phone off.
His wife probably received this photo and nearly got a heart attack. She couldn’t believe her husband would do something so reckless. We hope she eventually realized that he was only joking. When she got home and saw that her son was in one piece, she probably let out a huge sigh of relief. Her husband wasn’t going to be caring for their child alone anymore!
Dad Is Super Weird
“Mooooooooooooooooom, dad’s acting weird again!” That’s probably a common phrase in this household. At least this guy is thinking with his head. Instead of playing golf like a savage with a club, he invented a whole new game. If anything, despite how dumb it looks, this is pretty genius! All he has to do is find a way to market it.
Maybe get a snazzy #hashtag going and a Kickstarter, too. Once the money starts flowing in this will be the new normal! Come to think of it, he may just be ahead of his time! Hopefully his kids appreciate him because if not, we volunteer to get on the ground floor of whatever weirdness this is.
Making The Best Of It
There’s nothing worse than ordering something online and finding out it doesn’t fit. We always take a risk when ordering from an e-shop, and unfortunately, this is one of the downsides. It feels even worse when you’re planning a maternity photoshoot. His wife might’ve been a bit insecure about her size as a pregnant woman. He definitely managed to lift her spirits with this funny photo.
Sometimes all you need is a sense of humor to deal with a difficult situation. When life gives you a dress that doesn’t fit, put it on your husband and let him pose majestically outside. It’s better than pouting and worrying about making a return!
This Guy Knows How To Have Fun
Everyone has at least one fond memory from their childhood. This man’s memory involves a giant glass sphere. You can see it in his eyes, he feels like a kid again. He was in his element that day, and not many other days compared after this. His wife took this photo reluctantly while spectators were watching her husband act silly.
She wanted to bury herself in her purse at that moment but figured she shouldn’t burst his bubble. That’s what marriage is all about! When your partner wants to be funny, you have to let them. Even if you don’t think they’re amusing, just give them a little cackle and be on your merry way.

Technology has become so advanced that we’ve reached the point where our watches now double as phones. They can also play music. Basically, we’re just a few upgrades away from implanting our phones into our wrists. Some people don’t like all that innovation. Instead, they’d rather kick it old school. This dad has the right idea.
Not only is he wearing an original Apple Watch, but it’s the only one of its kind! Plus, he grew it himself! That’s not just a custom model, it’s truly unique. He also doesn’t have to worry about all that scanning and charging. To top it all off, this thing keeps sickness and doctors FAR away.
He’s A Real Poet
Dad was too tired to write a real letter. He wanted to go to bed already! If he had to write something, it was going to be with minimum effort. This letter looks like it was written by a child. This is what this wife gets for sending her husband to do a task after dark. She should’ve known that his head wouldn’t be in it. Most people wouldn’t take a task like this seriously that late at night.
The only thing that matters here is that the kids saw some sort of writing on a piece of paper. The rest is up to their imagination. We hope these parents kept this note to show their kids once they were old enough to read.
These Babies Know How To Have Fun
When you leave the kids with dad, you can expect to come home to something like this. This dad and husband got bored at home with his three children. There are plenty of things you can do with your kids, but getting a handle on so many all at once is no easy task. This solves everything! Though we’re very confused as to how these babies are sitting up on their own.
It must’ve taken this guy plenty of tries before getting this perfect photo. Each kid looks like they’re about to fall asleep, but none of them are crying! Maybe their dad bored them to sleep with this weird board game that they didn’t understand.
That’s A Big Leek!
Plumbing issues are no joke. Also, eating all of your vegetables is very serious. Neglecting either of those things can result in some nasty accidents in the bathroom. This parental figure isn’t just being funny, he’s reminding his kid to stay on top of their self-care. He also might be reminding them to eat enough veggies and get some fiber in their diet.
Seriously, just look at the size of that leek! IT’S HUGE! Thankfully, this looks like an easy fix. The fix for this won’t take too long. The prep for the leek may take a bit longer. Just be sure to wash it VERY well before eating. Eat a few, too. They don’t have a lot of fiber.
We Wonder When She Figured It Out
You have to do a bit of searching before you notice what’s out of place. Apparently, this guy’s girlfriend took several days to notice that he switched out baby Jesus with Yoda. Let’s hope she isn’t incredibly attached to the accuracy of the nativity scene. She was probably surprised when she finally took a closer look.
We wonder if this will become a Christmas tradition for the two of them. Every year he’ll be responsible for making a slight change to the scene and his wife will have to catch it. Sounds like a cute way to keep the relationship and holidays interesting. Plus, who doesn’t want a little more Star Wars in their life?
