Moments When Men Were Shockingly Entitled
One of the perils of growing up with the Internet is that you’re subjected to the most random and bizarre posts from strangers ever. Not only do some people treat social media like their own personal journals, but they force the rest of us to be part of their own drama. Toss in a heaping load of misplaced sexual frustration, an overly-bloated sense of entitlement, and a “me me me” personality, and you have the perfect recipe for an exhausting life full of rage-posts about why nobody wants to be around you. The rest of us are forced to read along, mostly because there isn’t anything good on TV anymore. Some of these guys are so beyond entitled we’re surprised they haven’t started to hit on intimate objects and get mad over being rejected by them too. Be sure to stretch your eyes, because you may roll them so hard before the end of this article that you’ll be able to see the lines in your brain.
Stop Touching People Without Permission
How is this some new piece of “advice”? If you’re out with a potential new partner, a friend, a family member, or anyone other than a mirror, don’t touch them. Unless you have pre-given consent, keep your hands to yourself. This is doubly so when you’re out on a first date with someone.
Dude, you aren’t a gentleman, you’re a creep. People keep misusing the word gentleman because they do not know what it is. A real gentleman knows his and everyone else’s boundaries exist. These freaking incels and losers keep misdefining words to hide behind so they’re not labeled the predators they really are.
Dear Somewhat Nice Guy, No
No, nope, niet, and any and all other forms of NO. This is not how social pleasantries work. Holding the door open for anyone, not just women, is not some cultural exchange of kindness for sexual gratification or favors. Holding the door open for someone is just a nice little thing some people get trapped into during morning and afternoon rush hour into and out of the office.
It’s just something we all do to not only show that we’re decent human beings but because it’s nice to have it done for us. There hasn’t been a single instance when someone’s held a door open for us and we’ve thought, “Sweet, might as well pull down my pants in appreciation.”
You’re Also A Racist Incel
Thinking that your skin color is a positive dating trait isn’t the flex you think it is broski. Also, announcing the reason you’re blocking someone because they won’t date you, just reinforces why nobody wants to sleep with you. This dude’s fragile ego couldn’t survive in the real world. In fact, he’s probably the living and (heavy) breathing definition of a loser living in their parent’s basement.
Does Mommy come in and pop your pimples and reassure you that you’ll find happiness one day? That ain’t happening if you continue to act like an entitled racist with a chip on their shoulder. We’re so sick of it. In this instance, “it” is you.
Is This A Play Or Reality?
Do conversations like this actually take place? Holy moly, that’s a lot to take in. Just because someone’s partner isn’t on social media anymore doesn’t mean that they’re instantly single. Some people are able to distance themselves from the toxic cesspool that is online communities and the digital social landscape. If anything this shows how strong this person’s relationship with their boyfriend is.
Not everyone needs to be online and posting nonsense. If that were the case, then this other dude’s actions would be justified in some twisted multiverse. Thankfully, they’re not, and he’s a creep. Plus, who’s leading anyone on? If anything, this animal (sorry animals) is the cause and problem of their own anger.
Your Spelling Is Trash, Too
Woah, woah, woah, woah. We’re hoping beyond all hope that this is a troll account. A fedora? Check. Wall of text with no punctuation except some !!! at the end? Check. Claims of being a good guy and then instantly insulting all women on the planet? Check. Yep, folks, this is a classic Incellus Moronis out in the wild. Don’t approach them or use big words.
They’re very aggressive and have little to no common sense of self-awareness. Most of the world is aware of this infestation. Currently, there aren’t any proven means to get rid of them. Thankfully, a good treatment for this invasive species is an immediate block and distancing yourself from their location.
Your Emoji Choices Are Gross
That lil’ devil emoji at the end took your “complaint” into the land of premeditation. If we were part of some law enforcement organization that actually did its job, this would be the type of posts we’d be on the lookout for. Are you implying that since your date didn’t put out of her own volition after you paid a paltry amount for dinner, you’re going to take what you want?
What’s the tea here? There are only a few ways to read this post and none of them paint you in a good light. Just because you can hold a conversation and not attack someone doesn’t make you a nice guy. No still means no. Plus, it’s “yeah” not “yea”.
Focus On Studying Instead Of Stalking
How many times do people need to say this: flowers do not a boyfriend make. Just because you’re buying a random person flowers doesn’t mean she’s instantly indebted to becoming your girlfriend. Women, and other guys, aren’t NPCs in your creepy little dating-sim world. Also, how is this the university’s fault?
Unless you’re on a full-ride scholarship from the Stalkers and Undateable Creep Klan, dating shouldn’t be first on your list of things to do. Maybe, just maybe, if you chill and focus on what’s really important, you could find someone that tolerates you in class or out and about. Just a thought.
Do Some Guys Not Get It?
How is having a conversation with another person this difficult? Are they not teaching people how to be decent and not weird anymore? Here’s a refresher course: don’t randomly compliment, or comment, on people’s bodies. It doesn’t matter if it’s online, in-person, or in your weird daydreams. Stop it. It’s not cute. It’s not okay. It’s also not something anyone should respond to.
Just because you picked out something about someone that you like to look at, it doesn’t mean they have to acknowledge it. That’s not you being “nice to them” and they’re not being rude. Online stalking and harassment is a real threat and something that needs to be snuffed out in its entirety.
Is It Sincere If It’s Weird?
Social dating apps have caused people’s conversation skills to deteriorate to dangerous levels. By the time you get to the hookup apps, it’s basically grunts and demands. Don’t believe us? Take a look at this meeting of the minds. While you can definitely find some quality conversations and people on Grindr, this isn’t one of them.
Unless someone has, “accepting random and unwarranted compliments in my chat” on their profile, try a different opener. Also, the benefit of these apps is that, if you don’t want to talk to someone, you’re not obligated to respond. Anonymity makes many people weird stalkers and many others into defenders of their own privacy and boundaries.
You Blew Your Shot Dude
Congratulations, you got someone to flirt back with you online. Don’t blow it. All you have to do is stay stable and flirty. Don’t try to mansplain relationships or try to subvert your potential date’s ability to reason what’s safe for her. Oh, you already did that? Okay, well, time to step back and recalibrate.
We’d also suggest typing whatever message you’re going to send someone into a separate note app. Then, reread it a couple of times. You don’t get to choose when someone else feels safe or not. In fact, you, and anyone else reading this, have no control over anyone else’s feelings. This is something even children know, dude.
Yes, You Spoke Way Too Soon
You’re also super-duper wrong. Nobody deserves to be abused by their partner. Anyone who wishes for someone else to be hurt, whether it’s emotionally or physically, doesn’t deserve to be with someone either. Yep, it’s that easy. You’re not a “good man” after this post. You probably weren’t one before it either. On top of all of these red flags, you posted this on Facebook?
That’s a public place, guy. Unless you’re only friends with other undateable losers, then you’re clearly not in the right, even among your network. Why is it that these idiots don’t know what proper punctuation and spelling are? Do their brains get fried from being rejected by rational people that they lose basic skills like writing and editing correctly?
Ma’am, Please Contact The Police
This reads like the opening scene to some terrifying thriller where people go missing after talking to this guy online. When someone states their intentions clearly please take them seriously and protect yourself. First, screenshot everything., Then, block them. If they resurface, send all that evidence to the police. If they choose not to do anything, be sure your friends and family know some weird stalker isn’t getting the hint.
These days, nobody can be too safe online, and this conversation is the perfect example of why. She clearly said she’s not interested. Instead of backing off, like a rational person would, this loser decided to let her know that that wasn’t an option. This isn’t okay.
Stop Making People Unsafe Online
Social media, unless someone is running a business or dedicated account, isn’t for other people. It’s for the person to post about their life. If people are watching, fine. If not, also fine. However, reaching out to a complete stranger and thinking you can compliment your way into meeting them in-person isn’t just desperate. It’s really creepy and comes off as desperate.
Do you know what else is weird? Desperate people who act like they have nothing to lose by preying on people online. She said no. Move on. Try to meet people in the real world instead of luring online personalities into your own social circle.
That’s The Worst Gig Imaginable
Part of a performer’s job is to connect with their audience. Whether they’re a comedian, a musician, a slam poet, or whoever, making the audience feel seen is critical to someone’s act going over well. At the same time, it’s also the audience’s job to realize this is part of the act. A performer isn’t actually flirting with you or making a meaningful connection from the stage. You’re one of many they’re making direct eye contact with.
If you can’t tell, then that just shows how good of a job they’re doing. Thanking someone for being good at their job is one thing. Propositioning them for a “private gig” that turns out to be a date is something else entirely. This entertainer was nothing but polite and professional. What did the fan read that as? Whatever it was, they didn’t take it well when the record was set straight, that’s for sure.
He’s Why People Hate Letting Others Down Easy
This is one of those situations where you have to be delicate but firm. If a friend throws you into a blind date that you’re not into, that’s already a red flag. What do you do? You could go on the date and try to grin’n’bear it. Or, you can be an adult and politely let the other person know it would be a waste of everyone’s time. This person did just that in the nicest way possible!
If anything, this shows a level of empathy and understanding that anyone, even the rejected, should find respectable and grown-up. Oh, who are we kidding? This article isn’t about people like that. This dude took the rejection so hard that he decided his blind date deserved to die instead of going on an uncomfortable date with him! It still sounds like she got the better end of the deal.
Women Aren’t “On-Demand” Smile-Makers
What did we just read? Is this dude writing a product description for women to market them as serotonin boosters for depressed men? That’s a sentence we didn’t even think we’d have to type. We really hope there isn’t a market for this crap, because this is creepy and weird. Women, just like men, and just like everyone else, are people too. They’re not accessories or products that people can “approach” to get their lives lightened up.
Then, the guy loops religion and parents into, as if implying a woman can’t be on her own without feeling some greater calling elsewhere! What is all this? No. Start over. Throw yourself away, recycle, and try again, dude. This draft, and belief, is garbage.
Learn Some Manners Before Swiping
Bro, compliments are freely given without the intention of receiving one back. If you’re just matching with people in hopes of getting some nice words thrown at you, try Chat GPT. The rejection from that machine would be less painful for your ego. Giving someone a compliment, in the right situation, is polite and could lift someone up. In the wrong context, or treating them like a loaded weapon, causes things to end up like this.
Not only did he get his feelings hurt due to his own stupidity, he insults the person he matched with too! What did he think was going to happen? You’re not going to get someone to fall in love with you just because you type something halfway-polite once. Get some manners and some self-esteem.
Just Say What You Mean
You were being discriminatory, sir. There is absolutely nothing that a server of one sex can do that another can’t. The only reason you wanted a female server was so you could make them uncomfortable with sloppy come-ons and flirting. Don’t lie. We’re not dumb. This is just sexual harassment with extra steps that the restaurant was smart enough to stop before it started.
Calling it “political correctness” because you got called out without being labeled a predator is also really dumb. Plus, why are you gawking at people at Cracker Barrel? That’s a family restaurant/store. The servers aren’t there to make friends. They’re there to be underpaid and rely on tips so that they can go home and pay their bills. Nobody’s there to hook-up.
Call Your One Friend Then
Why do some people think they’re being sly by turning a rejection into an invitation for friendship? Nobody’s taking that bait. This guy isn’t taking “no” for an answer, either. So, what happens when an impossibly entitled rock meets an uncomfortable but unmovable boulder? The rock keeps beating itself against a wall trying to get the boulder’s attention. She already said no.
She doesn’t want to date. She doesn’t want to be friends. She doesn’t even want to talk! Take the not-so-subtle hint and scurry away. Even after being rejected multiple times, this guy tries to video call this person! Boundaries exist, even if they’re online. Also, who’s giving a “friend” a villa? We’ve seen enough Netflix documentaries to know where this could have ended up.
Seizures Override Personal Phone Calls
Getting ghosted sucks. It’s not a good feeling to look forward to meeting up with someone, or even talking, and they disappear into thin-air. Do you know what sucks more? Having a seizure. The only thing worse than that is having multiple seizures. Not only did this young lady have a seizure, but she was also kind enough to explain it to this guy and apologize!
She didn’t even have to do that! This guy didn’t take that news too lightly. Instead of being empathetic, or just polite, he showed his true colors. Emotionally manipulating someone to talk, especially when recovering, is so dumb and horrible. There’s no way she’s talking to you after this. You know that, right?
Nobody Is Ever “Asking For It”
This is exhausting. No matter how often we have to say it, we’ll keep doing it: nobody is asking for “it” when they’re wearing clothes. It’s just not a thing. If someone wants sex, they’ll be vocal about it and give consent. Selling clothing on Facebook Marketplace is never a place where someone is asking for, or even selling, sex.
This lady was selling clothes. She wasn’t selling her body. Not only did this guy not realize that he didn’t even care. Throw in the disgusting comment about her chest, and you have the recipe for a great report to the Admins. Get this dude blocked! His money was probably gross and sticky anyway.
Dude, You’re A Disgusting Pig
Nope, no jokes here. This person is terrible. They should feel terrible. They also don’t deserve the happiness and comfort that comes with spending time with another consenting adult. They don’t seem to care about that anyway. He explicitly said he wants a household servant that can’t talk back and is completely submissive to his whims. Gross. Why are people like this guy allowed online?
This is where a competency, literacy, and morality test should be implemented. Plus, the gross overgeneralization of not one, but two cultures, shows how ignorant this basement-dwelling creature is. Excuse us, we have to go wash our eyes after reading this one. This has got to be satire, right?
Thoughts? You’re A Lazy Freeloader
There’s a movie called “Failure To Launch”. It’s about a stupidly attractive guy who’s lived at home into his late thirties, much to the chagrin of his parents. While it’s set up as a romantic comedy, it’s kind of a horror movie. The entire film is supposed to be about finding your own way, independence, and how to get Sarah Jessica Parker to fall in love with you.
Most people don’t willingly choose to live with their parents after a certain age because they want independence. However, they also know that it takes work but comes with some huge pay-offs. This guy doesn’t just care, he celebrates his laziness and leeching off of his family! Wow, what a catch.
How Not To Start A Conversation
Imagine the worst way someone could start a conversation with you. Now multiply it by a hundred. Great, you’re ready for this cringefest in three messages. Don’t call a random stranger scrumptious. It’s gross, makes no sense in this (or most other) contexts, and…you don’t know this person! Did they randomly type in numbers until someone responded to this line? No! Adding the early-2000s emojis don’t help your cause either.
Nobody is going to date a weirdo who opens with a stupid pickup line and a crazy use of symbols. Saying “pleased to meet you” isn’t enough manners to balance out the worst opening line ever. Just delete the chat, block yourself, and grow up.
Yes, YTA and a Bad Host
If you’re getting hot and heavy with someone, and then decide you don’t want to, that’s okay. In fact, that’s great! Say no and leave it at that. Your body belongs to nobody but you. Plus, sometimes, Netflix and chill literally mean watching Netflix and chilling on the couch. Getting sweaty is the opposite of chill the last time we checked. It doesn’t matter if this guy didn’t get visibly upset.
Kicking out his date to fend for herself, after he drove an hour to get her for dinner, is rude. If his intention was sex from the beginning, he should have just said that. It sounds like his date wanted to chill on the couch and watch something fun after dinner. That could have been a sweet and low-effort date! Nope, he went and ruined it by not using the bigger of his two broken brains.
Relax, Breathe, and Log Off
Bullying is not okay in any shape or form. It’s also a terrible thing plaguing schools and causing irreparable damage and trauma to many. While nobody deserves to be bullied, nobody is entitled to have this kind of reaction to it. Turning your anger onto the rest of the world never ends well. It hurts, it sucks, we know. This is the time to look inward.
Find a licensed professional to talk to, and learn to love yourself. Then, when you have that self-earned confidence, you’re going to find the perfect person that loves you for you. Until then, don’t let others get to you, and do NOT take your anger out on other people. That just means the bullies win.
A Textbook Definition of Sexual Harassment
“I’m not like the other guys, I’m a good guy,” this dude probably once upon a time. Then, after telling that to one lady, he goes online and demands breast pics from another. We don’t know, we’re just assuming. If you’re this disgusting online, then you’re probably ten-times worse offline. Hey, guy, if you want to see boobs so badly, go stand in a mirror.
You’ll see three. Two on your chest and then a giant one making up your whole body, ya’ boob. Some people have absolutely no shame. They should also be shamed for it. They should also be put on some sort of list, like for sex offenders! Oh, wait…that exists!
You’d Fail The Literacy Test
Is this an advertisement or a warning about some made-up government “scheme”? That word alone just reeks of conspiracy-theory lunacy. It also sounds like this guy is his own worst enemy. If there’s something you don’t like about yourself, change. It sounds hard, and it is. But guess what? Both change and self-acceptance come from within. Instead of journaling to the world, focus on yourself.
Also, how in the world does this “scheme” reduce crime? Is he implying that if he doesn’t get laid, he’ll start committing crimes? What crimes, sir? Also, who do we need to warn about this before he pretends this is real and acts out on your misplaced feelings of anger and self-hatred?
This Is A Supervillain Origin Story
Stop what you’re doing and check this out. Does this, or does this not, read like some Marvel villain describing the deep-seated trauma that caused them to go over the edge and annihilate a planet of sentient whales or something? We get it, seeing happy people can be annoying sometimes. When we have those feelings, we log off, read a book, and let ourselves chill out. Nobody’s forcing you to be on social media.
Also, stop comparing yourself to other people’s happiness and then crapping on it. Find your own. Life isn’t a race, it’s a journey, and you’re just grumbling on the sidelines. That, or, this person really gets off on the negative attention they get from Reddit comments. Either way, find something more productive to do.
Are You Staying Or Going?
Listen, mad lad, you need to decide if you’re staying or going. Judging by this illuminating Snapchat meeting of the minds, it sounds like you’re just monologuing for attention. If someone broke your heart, pick up the pieces and get out. If not, stop throwing yourself a pity party and wasting people’s time.
All your little posts are showing people is that you think super highly of yourself but don’t take a lick of responsibility for whatever it is that caused you to type that out. It doesn’t look like your (ex)girlfriend knows what you’re talking about either. Are you talking to a mirror and just got confused?
It’s Not Like Talking To A Bot
One of the cool things about talking to people these days is that you never have to meet them face-to-face. Online messaging and conversations have been around for a while. However, it was in the last decade or so that dating apps became the new platforms to meet new people, romantic or otherwise. While it’s nice to have an app that connects you to other interested singles, it’s not completely foolproof. But sometimes, toxic idiots like this guy get through the filters.
He started out venting about his day, then things took a turn after he waited a bit for a reply. Since he forgot that people work, and can’t answer texts ASAP, he took it as an invitation to go off on his potential match for no reason! That may be why he’s single in the first place. You’re not going to hook up acting like that, bro! What were you thinking?
How High Can This Guy Count?
It’s hard to believe, but this guy may not be kidding. Neckbeards and trolls on the Internet have to take inspiration to be horrible from somewhere. We’re pretty sure they all originated from this person’s post. Not only is this moron on the hunt (not search) for a partner to trap, he wants them to basically sign over their independence.
Plus, they have to be willing to be tracked, sexually available, and have absolutely no social contacts outside of the relationship. This sounds like kidnapping with extra steps at best, and a crime waiting to happen at worst. We’re almost certain, and grateful, that nobody will take this dude seriously.
Is It That Hard To Be Patient?
What is it about the Internet that turns supposedly rational people into screeching monsters? This guy messaged someone very politely, and it seems like this could have been a great way to start off a conversation. He’s polite, appreciative, and almost respectful. Then there’s a delay where his two brain cells finally dissolve. What we’re left with is an ALL-CAPS run-on sentence about how he’s clearly a nice guy.
Just ignore the part where he invokes Jesus or talks about life not being fair to him. It’s a good thing the other person left him on read to calm down. Also, her response was the only way to handle a situation like this. If you can’t talk to someone sensibly then you’re not worth having a conversation with.
Relationships Don’t Require Applications Or Contracts
There’s something to be said about being upfront with what you can bring to the table. This guy isn’t promising to be a romantic. He’s actually admitting to the exact opposite. At best, he’ll give you a mediocre time with a rollercoaster of emotions to accompany your melancholy. What in the world did he think he’d get out of admitting to ruining his future girlfriend’s life?
Is he scraping the bottom of the barrel from the get-go? Maybe that’s where he started. Either way, serious inquiries only y’all, this guy probably won’t be on the market for long. Sorry, that sounded a lot funnier in our heads, unlike this dude.
Maury Is Speaking The Truth
This guy’s approach to being ignored is a classic. When someone he matched with decided they weren’t interested, he turned himself into the victim. At the same time, he tried to make himself sound cool enough to date! Nobody’s going to be blowing his horn for a long while with that kind of playbook.
If anything, the proper meme usage puts the other person leagues out of this guy’s reach. Unless he was looking to get a funny screenshot, we can’t seem to follow this guy’s thought process. Sometimes taking a good hard look at yourself BEFORE swiping on others is the only way to figure out why you’re single.
Those Are Dramatically Heavy Milkshakes
Is giving someone a compliment a life-or-death thing? This post is all sorts of dramatic and it’s barely a sentence long! Why are there milkshakes in the background? Why was complimenting someone seen as such a serious action? What’s wrong with a thank you? If someone gives you a compliment, saying “thank you” is literally the exact thing you’re supposed to do.
Was this guy expecting some lady to drop her pants over being called pretty? No, that’s not how these work outside of the Internet and select adult video sites. Go outside more often, bro, because your reality seems a bit different than the rest of ours.
This Is A Terrible Arrangement
That’s a cute little wishlist there, kiddo. Did mommy and daddy approve it before letting you have some computer time? Some people have zero shame. That can be good in the world of business, but It’s not so good when you’re looking for love. Judging by this “want ad”, this guy’s not looking for that either. He seems to want a subservient house slave!
Is anyone going to really answer this post with any sincerity? While every pot has its lid, this may be a case where someone is showing why they deserve to be alone. This job listing doesn’t even include the salary range, benefits, or retirement contributions! Ladies, stay far away.
Stop Calling Random Internet People
You get no points for consistency or persistence this time, dude. While he was polite and kind enough not to scream obscenities at this stranger, this still isn’t the way to flirt with someone. If a person says they don’t want to send pictures or videos then that’s where the requests end. The thing you should NOT do is try to get them on a video call immediately after they refused.
Are you hoping they’ll answer? What would you even say to someone who clearly doesn’t want to talk? That, and, you just asked for nudes. There’s a good chance this guy would ask to video chat while completely naked. Hopefully, she quickly blocked him so he couldn’t call her anymore.
Oh No, The Incels Are Gathering
You deserve to be ignored If you’re messaging someone “hello” or any other word, phrase, or emoji, a bunch of times. That’s not being attentive or cute. It’s annoying and creepy. That’s something you can work on to instantly become a bit more desirable. That, or, you can double down and call on a bunch of other virtual losers to do nothing.
If you’re not getting any action or attention, what’s striking going to do? Band together and continue to live the exact same lives you’ve been living since forever? What in the world was this guy’s end goal? Is complaining going to magically make him seem vulnerable and attractive?
It Started Well Then Dropped
Watching what you say and being aware of both your surroundings are important life skills. That’s the only thing this dude got right. Everything following that sentence is just dripping with nonsense covered in terrible ideas. What in the world is a “man sir”? There must be a comma missing.
Plus, telling people that they need to be chosen is just weird. He’s gone from controlling to straight-up cult leader in a single paragraph! That’s gotta be some sort of record somewhere. Also, what does he mean by “cruel”? Are the people he “chooses” instantly miserable the second they shack up with him?
