Iconic Brands That No Longer Exist

Before BlackBerries were all the rage, Palm Pilots were the businessman’s digital organizer and productivity device rolled into one. Known for their various Palm products, as well as developing the first versions of webOS, Palm created a years-long trend of more and more supercharged portable devices.

In 2010, HP purchased the brand for $1.2 billion. They would continue to release a line of webOS products, but without the Palm name. Poor sales and reception would put the kibosh on the company, and HP ended its production of Palm products as a whole in 2011.
