Obviously most of the quarters we obtain are only worth 25 cents, but some quarters may actually be worth more. In 2005, due to a coin pressing machine error, the Kansas quarter’s motto reads “In God We Rust” instead of “In God We Trust”.

Now this doesn’t sound like much of an error to me because it’s just too good to be true, but you just may have one lying around in a swear jar somewhere that is now valued at around $100.
