Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts passed on the part of the lovely Viola in “Shakespeare in Love”, it didn’t have any negative impact on her successful ongoing career, but it did allow Gwyneth Paltrow take the role, and make it a memorable one. Wonder what made her give up this role, but Daniel Day-Lewis was offered the lead as Shakespeare, and he also declined, so guess these two have their own reasoning.
