The director of the movie “Jerry Maguire” Camron Crowe had Tom Hanks in mind for the role of Jerry. But Hanks had to pass due to schedule’s conflicts, he was directing “That Thing You Do”, and Tom Cruise got a chance to show us the money. Hanck, the decent guy that he is was quoted praising Cruise’s performance, saying the movie is perfect the way it is and we couldn’t agree more.
