Facts We May Not Know About Chernobyl Disaster
Thriving Wildlife
In the events since the accident, the wildlife population has really turned around. Although they are at higher risk of developing radiation related disabilities and deformities and don’t live nearly as long as they used to, the animals that live in the area have been doing pretty well for themselves.

They are reproducing faster than the radiation can kill them, and because no one hunts them anymore, they are able to live in a more peaceful, unique environment. This sure is one amazing case of survival of the fittest!
