Neighbors Came Over to Visit

Back in the day there were just less options of “things to do”- we didn’t have multiple electronics with tons of games on them, there was no internet to surf, and we definitely didn’t have Netflix.

So that left tons of time for neighbors to come over for a visit and especially during the holidays, it was almost a tradition to hang with those that live around you.

Neighbors Came Over to Visit

They’d show up unannounced with a coffee cake or a box of nuts and chocolates, and mom would always send them home with a Tupperware of homemade cookies. Sadly, nowadays, people hardly even know their neighbors anymore.
