Breaking The Law

SAMS Accommodation in Plymouth, Devon had basically stated that due to a request from the landlord, she couldn’t rent a property because she wasn’t in a relationship with a man. The UK Equality Act 2010 states that landlords cannot turn down any people based on their gender, age, marital status, disability, beliefs or race.

Breaking The Law

When confronted by Lorna, SAMS Accommodation pledged to investigate this allegation but continued to deny that Lorna was turned down for this reason.
