The Krummlauf was invented during World War II. It was designed to attach to a gun and curve the bullets as they show out, allowing Nazi soldiers to shoot from hidden corners. This was a complete fail, the Krummlauf put way too much pressure on the barrel of the gun and it ended up not shooting at all.
