Some inventions just require a little bit of creativity and the ability to improvise. Take this photo for example, a few young swimmers decide to use bike tires to help them float on water.  Sure they look like they’re wrapped up in sausages, but if it helped them perform better then they served their purpose right? This is more of a question of function vs form.
