Try Not to Crack a Grin at these Christmas Cards
It’s that special time of year again, and there’s so much to do! There’s holiday shopping, holiday decorating, party planning, and most importantly holiday greeting cards! Yes, it’s the one time a year you reach out to all of your friends and extended family to wish them a season’s greetings. Most people use this opportunity to show off their accomplishments, or to keep relatives up to speed on a growing family. There are thousands of ordinary holiday cards sent out every year, but some of them are a little above average. Some people use this opportunity to get creative and use a little bit of humor, and we’re going to show you the funniest we could find. Try not to crack a grin at some of these greeting cards.
Going the Extra Mile for a Funny Holiday Card
Now, this is a couple willing to go all out to make their family smile, even if it means buying a fake mustache for the occasion. Half of this Christmas card looks pretty average, with the little brothers hugging in a cute picture together. But the second half throws in a huge twist, you might be doing a double-take the first time you see it.
Mom and dad have gotten in pull drag and swapped places to take this funny family photo. You can tell that their two young sons are struggling not to burst out laughing at the spectacle they’re making. You have to appreciate this level of commitment to making people giggle when they get a Christmas card.
A Clever Photography Angle to Fool your Family
Christmas cards are a great opportunity for previously single people to introduce their new significant other to the rest of the family. That would appear to be what’s going on in this Christmas card at first glance. But once mom and dad get a closer look they’ll realize there’s no blooming relationship here! You have to give this woman major props for creativity here.
She may be single this holiday season but she definitely has ingenuity and humor to spare! We definitely would have been fooled just looking at the top photo, it really does look like a young couple about to share a smooch under the mistletoe. Maybe next year she’ll meet a special someone to join her in creating a hilarious Christmas card.
That’s One Way of Getting a Silent Night
What happens when parents get tired of being woken up early every single Christmas morning? In the most extreme cases, it could look something like this! Though we’re pretty sure this photo was only taken in jest, there are undoubtedly many parents who can relate to this kind of sentiment. After all that Christmas shopping and preparing all anyone ever wants is to sleep in on Christmas morning.
But kids don’t have any concept of sleeping in late, so they rustle their parents awake and drag them out of bed to open presents as early as possible. Maybe tying them up with Christmas lights isn’t the best solution, but there’s got to be a way for mom and dad to get a bit of rest!
Some Things You Can’t Give Away to Charity
Holidays are a time where people often clear their house of unwanted things and donate them to charity. Usually, these are things like old clothes, knick-knacks, or books. But we’re not sure this girl’s parents are going to let her give her baby brother away! We’re guessing that the new addition to the family was not especially well received from this former only child. She’s going to have to get used to him though!
As far as we know Goodwill does not accept donations in the form of human babies. Mom and dad better make sure that they get separate Christmas gifts for these two, otherwise, this little girl will end up throwing an almighty temper tantrum.
A Very Creepy Christmas Card
Any grandparent or cousin opening up this Christmas card is in for quite a shock! It looks like someone in the family has a knack for using photo editing software, otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to pull off this pretty convincing face swap. We think that the creepiest part of this card has to be the switcharoo between the father and the baby son. It’s just so unnerving!
This is a pretty straightforward Christmas card idea that is sure to get a laugh (or horrified face) from anyone who receives it. The photo may have been taken in 2013, but their family is sure to remember it for years and years to come!
When Your Parents Cut You Out of the Christmas Card
Sometimes the best way to be a passive aggressive parent is to give out less information instead of more. Have your kids disappointed you this year? Don’t highlight their shortcomings on your Christmas card, just leave them out of it entirely! You can always replace their faces with your pet dogs, after all, they’ve never let you down before.
Though we’re sure the children of this couple are feeling a bit let down not to be included on the yearly Christmas card. Maybe this will be a motivation for them to try harder next year. A spot on the Christmas card is not something given, it must be earned! At least, that seems to be the case in this family.
Your One True Love this Holiday Season
What do you do when you’re away from family, have no significant other, and also don’t have any furry friends to show off? Pose with a pizza of course! Everybody loves pizza, maybe not as much as this woman though. Taking an entire photoshoot with a pizza takes some commitment, especially when you’re out in the cold weather.
Not only is she apparently married to this pizza, but they’re having a little pizza baby! What fantastic news for them we’re sure her entire family will be thrilled to receive this card. Sarah and Pizza should be commended on making an effort to spread the holiday spirit, even if their photos are a little CHEESY.
What Do Mr. and Mrs. Claus Do the Rest of the Year?
Here’s a funny and slightly risque Christmas card. It will either have your family laughing or gasping in shock. After all, everyone who knows about Santa Claus knows that he’s not living in the North Pole all by himself. There’s Mrs. Claus up there to keep him company, and the two of them have got to keep their marriage interesting for the rest of the months where there is no Christmas.
This might be a fun card to send to a friend or a parent with a good sense of humor, but we might suggest not to send it to grandma or grandpa. That is unless they’re a super chill and laid back kind of grandparent.
Welcoming a New Family Member for the Holidays
So maybe there isn’t a new baby to welcome into the family. Maybe no one is getting engaged or married. But if you’ve just got a new pet here’s a great way to make that news BIGGER than it really is! Your family might not be too excited that you’ve adopted a cat, but they just might be if they think it’s the size of a dinosaur!
It will take a master of photoshop to execute this creative Christmas card concept, but the outcome has got to be well worth the effort. This is the kind of Christmas card that gets put up on the refrigerator and remembered for all time, that should be the level we all strive for.
Have a Very Murray Christmas
Some people will forgo having their family displayed on their Christmas cards for the sake of a good pun. And honestly? Hats off to them, not enough people are as committed to good wordplay as the person who came up with this car concept. Instead of having a Merry Christmas, this family is wishing you a very MURRAY Christmas.
What does having a Murray Christmas involve? Maybe a marathon of all the Ghostbusters movies? Or perhaps it means watching Groundhog day on Christmas Eve, and then again on Christmas day? Whatever a Murray Christmas entails, we’re sure it’s going to be a good time. You’ll want to celebrate it every year!
Everyone Gets to Pose with Santa!
Mall Santas are not an uncommon thing to come across during the holiday season. You’ll usually find toddlers or very young children wanting to take photos with Santa, but occasionally different sorts of people want to be photographed alongside him. Based on this picture we can guess that a group of goth teenagers really wanted to get their picture with Santa.
And the jolly old man doesn’t seem to mind one bit! He’s probably just glad to have some company. After all, that giant green armchair seems to be big enough for the whole clique. What we learned from this picture is that you’re never too old, too cool, or too alternative to get your picture taken with Santa.
An Un-Orthodox Nativity Scene
Some might find this photo a little bit sacrilegious, but we’re sure others will get a chuckle out of it. Instead of going for a typical Christmas photo, this gentleman decided to do a bit of an unorthodox staging of the nativity scene. Well, unorthodox is a bit of an understatement! He’s got his pet kitty playing the part of little baby Jesus!
You’ve got to give him credit for attention to detail, that costume he’s wearing definitely says he’s put some effort into the photo. The cat seems to be pretty confused with what’s going on, just look at the expression on his face! He’s definitely not pleased, even though he’s playing arguably the most important part of the scene.
Paying Homage to One of the Greatest Christmas Movies
Are you stuck on a concept for your family’s Christmas card? Why not go with one of the most famous Christmas movies of all time? This family had the clever idea of staging a scene from the timeless classic “Home Alone”. Mom and dad are playing the part of the Wet Bandits, while their young son is starring as little Kevin Mcalister.
This card was probably just as fun to photograph as it was to receive! And there are dozens of other great Christmas movies you could base your next Christmas photo on. If you want to go really classic you could go for “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Or if you’re a Will Ferrell fan, why not “Elf”? The possibilities are endless!
Holiday Photos with the Roommates
Looks like these friends had a little too much time on their hands this holiday season! We guess this is what happens when you and your buddy have a few beers before taking your Christmas photos, though you can’t say it’s not a hilarious picture. We’re not sure their families will be too thrilled, but they’re bound to get a few laughs out of them.
You’d think that staging a winter themed photo would involve more warm clothing, but nope! We bet they just wanted to show off what all their time at the gym has been doing for their abs. Whatever the reason, it looks like this was a lot of fun for them to shoot.
A Pretty Ironic Holiday Photo
It looks like this family will have a very loud Christmas, no Silent Night to be found in this household! The expressions on their faces spell out the exact opposite of the letters they’re holding, which we’re sure was the exact point. If you can’t create any peace and quiet in your home you might as well poke a little bit of fun at it.
Maybe if their family and friends receive this card they’ll get the message that this couple is struggling to handle their little ones. This just might be their subtle way of asking for a helping hand during the holiday season. After all, it’s hard to put up a Christmas tree while you’ve got three screaming kids on your hands!
A Couple’s Clothing Swap for Christmas
Posing with your significant other for your holiday cards? That sounds boring! Why not switch things up the way this couple did? They really switched it up, literally, by wearing each other’s outfits. It’s a good thing that they were about the same size, otherwise, they may not have been able to fit into each other’s clothing.
This is definitely a couple that knows how to have fun and show off their sense of humor. Next year they should go the extra mile and get into full drag together, that’s sure to be an interesting cover for any Christmas card! Or maybe they’ll go even further and buy a pair of matching onesies.
Every Snowflake is Unique
Living in a town, city, or state that’s devoid of snow? Well, that shouldn’t keep you from getting into the holiday spirit! Why not create your own winter wonderland, it’s easy if you’ve got a little bit of creativity and some good photo editing software. This fellow right here created a ton of different snowflakes just using his own body!
As you probably already know, all snowflakes have a unique pattern. He definitely had to be inventive to come up with all of those different poses. This card probably took a good amount of time to create, but it was well worth the effort. There aren’t very many Christmas cards that are this innovative!
Christmas Morning with the Lads
Sometimes your friends are the closest family you have. If that’s the case, you’re going to want to feature them on your holiday cards. And why bother getting all your friends together for a Christmas photo if you’re not going to be as silly as possible? We’re pretty impressed that they managed to find six adult sized ducky pajamas.
The addition of the teddy bears really makes this photo special. And if you look a little closer, you’ll notice the fellow in the bottom center is wearing a pair of snow goggles. Why? Who knows! It’s pretty funny though. This picture just shows how much fun it can be to take holiday photos with friends, you should try it sometime!
Staging an Elaborate Scene
Now, this is one way of staging an interesting and dramatic scene for your Christmas photo! At least we assume it’s staged. There are plenty of trouble making kids out there, but none so devious as to plan a stunt as crazy as this. If they really had hatched this plan then Santa would certainly be leaving coal in their stocking that year.
This particular family is known for staging all kinds of wacky Christmas photos, using only themselves and their two kids. It definitely makes the holiday season a little bit more interesting for everyone! Their family definitely waits with bated breath to see what they’ll come up with every year.
Away from the Holidays and Feeling Lonely?
You might feel just a bit lonely if you’re spending your first Christmas away from home. After all, you don’t have the time or energy to cook Christmas dinner and decorate all by yourself. And what about sending out Christmas cards? How will you manage that without your mom, dad, and annoying little brother? This woman figured out a way around spending the holidays alone.
This is what I’d call making lemons out of lemonade. She managed to pull off an entire family photo all by herself. Well, not exactly by herself, she had her cat to help her out. Now we only have to wonder whether these caricatures resemble her actual family members at all.
The Most Minimalist Christmas Card Ever
If you’re photo shy, or just woke up with a huge zit the day Christmas pictures were meant to be taken, this is the perfect card for you. It also might send the message that you have a very dry sense of humor. I doubt your family will be pestering you for holiday photos after you’ve sent this one out.
Maybe this is a better choice for friends, rather than your sweet old grandma who’s been waiting for a new picture of you to stick on the fridge. It might be a super minimalist card but at least it’s wishing you a good day! That’s got to be better than wishing you a BAD Christmas, right?
You Better Let the Kids Open Their Presents!
This is what ends up happening when you don’t let your kids open their Christmas presents right away! Looks like these tots were sick and tired of hearing “just a few more minutes” over and over again. They’ve plotted the perfect evil plan to take all the presents for themselves! What a truly devious pair of siblings, I bet you it was the infant who came up with the whole thing.
Mom and dad sure look unhappy out there. And can you blame them? They have to watch junior unwrap the presents they painstakingly bought and wrapped, all from outside! The least the kids could do is throw them a sweater so they don’t freeze.
This Christmas Card is Shining
Why base your holiday photos after iconic Christmas movies when you could parody horror movies instead? This couple is probably a big fan of Stanley Kubrick, or else they just have a very dark sense of humor. You really have to commend them on their commitment to making the photorealistic. They actually broke a hole in their door with an axe!
They might be regretting their decision when they’re down at Home Depot to buy a new door. But looking back on this photo for years to come just might be worth it. In fact, I think they should make this a Christmas tradition from here on out. Bring a little holiday cheer to horror movies!
He’s Definitely the Cool Uncle
This guy was tasked with taking a Christmas photo with his nephews. He could have taken the easy route, put them all in generic holiday sweaters, and said “cheese!”. But this dude was a whole lot more creative than that. We’re sure he’s earned the title of “the cool uncle” after this photoshoot. He even went so far as to give them all nicknames at the bottom of the card.
If I had to choose my favorite I’d definitely pick “Eagle Hawk”. What I really want to know is how he created those blood splatters on the shirts, they look so real! I don’t envy the person who had to do the laundry after these were taken.
Save Time and Effort with a Card Like This
What do you do when you’ve forgotten to send out every single holiday card for the year? Send one big card to cover everything you’ve missed! Now that’s what I would call efficient. You might have to scramble to find all the holiday props once they’re out of season, but at the end of the day, you’ve squashed six different holidays into a single card.
Just think of how much paper and postage you’re saving! You can use the environmentalist excuse with your family when they accuse you of being lazy and not making enough effort to stay in touch. And if this guy’s family didn’t appreciate the card at least the baby looks like he had a good time.
The Less Adorable Side of Pets on Christmas Cards
Most people want their pets to look as adorable as possible on their Christmas cards. People will go so far as to dress their fur babies in little elf costumes just to ensure they’re cute as a button. But this family? They’re not sugar coating anything! The first thing that will come to mind looking at this photo is bending over to pick up some doggy doo.
But everything gets turned around when you read the bottom of the card, which is hoping you get some GREAT crap for Christmas! Let’s hope the great crap is nothing like the kind your dog would leave behind in the backyard. That would definitely be worse than a lump of coal.
What, Don’t You See the Resemblance?
What do you do when your family members don’t see the resemblance between you and your kids? Create your own resemblance, of course! Now no one will question whether your wife was getting a little too close with the milkman. A picture like this shows that this man is unequivocally the father of these two boys. Can they be called boys with beards as full as those?
Maybe next year he should pick out matching outfits for the three of them, that should really drive the point home. He could even get mom to join the photo with a beard of her own! Now that would take the Christmas card from charming to super weird.
A Family that Goes Down Together…
I wonder what this family did for each of them to end up on a wanted poster. Perhaps they staged a heist at the toy store to snag the last Barbie doll. Or maybe they got so drunk on eggnog that they caused a scene at their local Church. Whatever the reason for their misconduct I have to wonder; how did they manage to rope their toddler into it?!
Or perhaps it was his idea all along, following the trend of mischievous toddlers on Christmas. He probably got his hands on mall Santa’s gift stash and the rest of the family ended up having to go down with him. At least they’re a family that stays together!
Someone is Not Happy with his Christmas Sweater
At first glance, this might appear to be four friends taking an average Christmas photo. They’re all smiling and dressed in their holiday sweaters, everything appears to be in order. But take a closer look and you might notice someone who isn’t especially thrilled to be included in the photo. I’ve never seen anyone that desperate to get out of a Christmas photo before!
Maybe he’s only making that face because the sweater he’s wearing is super itchy. You better let that kitty go before he scratches those sweaters to shreds. The last thing you want to hold while wearing a knit sweater is a disgruntled cat. Hopefully, they made it through this photoshoot in one piece.
One Passive Aggressive Birthday Card
Did this girl’s parents make this Christmas card as a way to throw some silent judgment on one of their daughters, or was the addition of her deer photo just a coincidence? You’ll have to be the judge of that one. But you’ve got to admit it’s a funny sight to see, a photo posing with a deer next to your siblings’ football and navel pictures!
Perhaps this card is a bit misleading, and this daughter has her own set of accomplishments that simply have not been photographed? Either way, this is certainly a lapse in judgment on her parents’ part. We just hope she can take the card with a good sense of humor and not feel too sore about it.
Mom and Dad have got to be Fans of The Thing
You’ve probably already heard of an Elf on a Shelf, but we bet you’ve never seen anything like this before! If you’re familiar with the science fiction horror movie “Alien” then you probably get the reference in this family’s funny but morbid Christmas card. We’re guessing mom and dad are big fans of the original movie, and their tiny daughter over there is probably just excited to see an elf bust out of her father’s chest.
This is definitely a family that isn’t afraid to show off their dark sense of humor. A few of their family members might not get the joke, but it’s an entertaining photo nonetheless! Next year they should totally try a Saw-themed Christmas card.
A Very Punny Christmas
If you’re familiar with The Maury Show, you probably got a kick out of this one. He’s notorious for doing live paternity tests on television and revealing just how unprepared some people are to be fathers. It’s pretty clever to think about the story of Christmas that way. Though we imagine more religious relatives might find this inappropriate.
If Jesus were alive today he’d have a very difficult time trying to find out who his dad was. His mom would beg him to stop looking and would try to explain he’s a miracle, but he wouldn’t believe her. He’d never stop until he checked his DNA against every male on the planet.
When The Dog Starts Looking Like Their Owner
Dogs are an important part of many families. This girl loves her dog so much that she wanted to send her family a cute photo of the two of them. But she still wanted to send something unique and memorable. It’s adorable how blissfully unaware the dog is of the whole situation.
He’s just happy to be included! His human makes him do all sorts of weird things but he’s okay with it. As long as he gets his treats and walks, his owner can do whatever she wants. In his head, he was just trying hard not to blink. Somehow his eyes are always closed in photos.
Parenting Is Tough
You might be tempted to take a happy-go-lucky photo for your Christmas card, but that would be boring. Everyone puts on their best face for photos, but what happens behind the scenes is much more interesting. This couple wasn’t afraid to show their family what life was like with their new baby. They decided this year they were going to be as dramatic as they could get.
The baby crying in the pot is pretty crazy. For some reason, many babies just don’t want to smile for holiday photos. Something about being forced to be photographed makes them very unhappy. Especially if they’re sitting in cookware on the stove!
There’s Always That One Creepy Card
We have no idea what was going on in this guy’s head when he took this photo. It seems like he was trying to be seductive, but it’s not working. The pose along with hiding inside the tree takes this photo to new levels of creep. If he was trying to get a laugh he probably succeeded with some people. But his family was probably concerned after they found this in the mailbox.
They didn’t know whether to laugh or call him to make sure everything was alright. This photo only proves he has too much time on his hands. Though we’re sure everyone definitely kept this card, it’s too good to throw away.
A True Miracle!
We just can’t get enough of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph photo recreations. The way this couple is looking lovingly at their dog is too good. The people deserve an award for their performance. They even paid close enough attention to have the halos above their heads. We can imagine this dog is super spoiled.
Instead of getting grandchildren, this couple’s parents will just have to come to terms with the fact that this dog is their grandbaby. That’s got to be better than nothing, right? They will protect him forever because they see him for the miracle he is. He’s one special canine!
Best Roommates Ever
Everything about this photo just screams Christmas. The miracle birth, the Santa hat, the ugly sweater, they all come together for this awesome shot. These roommates probably finished studying for their exams and figured they might as well do something fun with their extra time. It’s not common to send a card out as roommates, so they wanted to be extra creative.
This whole scene is chaotic but everything about it is perfect. Their parents must’ve been surprised to see what they’ve been doing all the time in school. But after seeing this photo they knew their kids were going to go places in life. If they were dedicated enough for this, they could do anything.
Coolest Child Ever
If you have a toddler, they’ll most likely end up in your Christmas photo. Everyone loves seeing babies on cards. Normally they’re dressed in tiny green and red elf outfits, or a formal get-up complete with a tie. But those ideas are cliché and overdone. This dad wanted to entertain his friends and family while showing them how adorable his son is.
Their kid is dressed like a hardcore tattoed “homie” from the streets, but his face is still adorably innocent. When he grows up he’s going to be pretty impressed with his parents. Maybe he’ll be embarrassed at first but he’ll definitely grow to appreciate their photoshop skills.
This Couple’s Clearly Obsessed With Jurassic Park
It may be Christmas, but this family wanted to combine it with dinosaurs. Their favorite movie is Jurassic Park, and they felt like incorporating T-Rex into their photoshoot. We have no clue what dinosaurs have to do with Christmas, but there are no rules when it comes to these cards. You have the freedom to do whatever you please, as long as you include the words “Merry Christmas”.
People will appreciate the gesture. That cat looks like it has had enough of his humans’ shenanigans. Being a black cat, they already went through so much on Halloween… and now this?! They much rather sit on the windowsill and judge the humans who pass by.
Just Living His Best Single Life
This is one way to make everyone worry about you. If you got a photo like this in the mail, you’d think the person was having a crisis. John looks like he’s just been partying for three days straight. It’s clear that he staged this photo to look a certain way, but his parents didn’t see it that way. After sending this photo, he probably got a lecture about drinking too much.
His parents sat him down and explained the concept of moderation. After listening to their speeches he had to explain that the photo was a joke and he wasn’t actually a drunk. Maybe he’ll rethink staging another photo like this for the family.
Weird Flex, But Okay
The people who received this card probably had lots of questions. No one would expect their loved one to send something this bizarre. You can tell that this guy has an awesome sense of humor. He was tired of the regular cards most people send. There’s a tree in the background, everyone is smiling, and sometimes a pet makes an appearance.
He never understood why people didn’t take photos that solely focus on their pets. It seems normal to him. He even got his pet a little hat to get him in the festive mood. The chicken is pretty photogenic, it’s probably not his first photoshoot. He’s used to posing for the camera.
A Modern Spin on a Christmas Photo
This family definitely wanted to keep their Christmas card topical and opted to include the addiction to smart devices into the mix. Unfortunately, this is the picture of how many families end up spending their time together. But perhaps this brutally honest look at the modern family will get people to rethink how they spend their holidays.
While the card is both clever and funny, it just might remind people that the holidays are the time to unplug and communicate with the people around you face to face. It’s nice that this family could include a little life lesson in their Christmas card. Hopefully, their family and friends will heed their message!
Those Gymnastics Classes Sure Came in Handy
Why make your Christmas photos and decorating two separate things? You could kill two birds with one stone and have the Christmas photo BE the decorating! An original concept that is also very practical. This works especially well if your holiday decorating is as interesting to watch as this family’s.
Looks like mom and dad may have taken up gymnastics when they were young. They’ve got their family acrobatic routine down pat, which must really come in handy when they need to get the star on top of the tree! They’ve even got their dog to cooperate, which has got to be a challenge. How do you teach a dog gymnastics anyway?
Playing a Character for the Camera
This couple decided to take the pure humor route when it came to their Christmas photo, and you’ve got to admit they really nailed it! What really makes this picture is the details. The cans of Bud decorating the tree, the hair rollers with the cigarette, and the deer head in the background. They have certainly painted the perfect picture of a very hillbilly Christmas, even their expressions are on point.
We hope that their extended family can appreciate the humor in this picture and won’t express any genuine concern. They just might need to send a follow-up card that ensures their relatives that their tree is not in fact being decorated with empty beer cans.
Sometimes Family Walks on All Fours
What kind of photo do you take when you’re living alone and away from family, plus you’ve got no significant other to join you? Take a picture with your pet of course! Having your furry friend accompany you on your Christmas card has become very popular, although there are all kinds of variations out there. This gentleman has opted for something classic and classy.
Casually holding a glass of liquor with a Christmas tree in the background, seated on comfy armchairs next to his best buddy. Just so long as Fido doesn’t slobber on the upholstery he’s got himself a top-notch Christmas photo. We’re sure his family will hold off on pestering him about getting married after seeing him in this serene scene.
A Family Who Watches Netflix Together
Why not incorporate the favorite family show into your holiday cards? Sure it will take a bit of time to figure out how to recreate the costumes, but the final result is definitely worth it. We suppose that the Game of Thrones fans in the family are the parents and not the two young girls, after all the show is a bit mature for younger audiences!
Nevertheless, we’re sure they loved dressing up in fantasy clothing and posing for this epic holiday photo. Oh and the dog, we guess the dog probably doesn’t watch the show either. But he is doing a pretty good job of looking majestic and adding to the theme of the card. Good dog!
The Easiest Way to Avoid the Holiday Photo
Some people are camera shy and elect to forgo the family photos altogether! For individuals who can’t manage to take their holiday photos, this card has you covered. Perhaps you woke up that morning with a huge zit, or maybe the camera broke. Maybe it was too much of a chore to get the whole family to sit still for a minute to capture a photo.
Whatever the reason may be, this snarky card sure is a good backup! It might not be the most heartfelt or homemade card in the world, but it definitely gets the job done. You can always save the elaborate photos for another year unless you seriously hate taking photos.
Bringing Star Power to Your Holiday Photos
Sometimes your own family is just a bit too boring for your Christmas card. Maybe your family photos would look a little more interesting if you photoshopped a handsome celebrity into them. Well, that’s just what this mother had in mind when sending out her Christmas cards. Assuming her family isn’t too up to date on celebrity news, they might think that they’ve just adopted a very handsome adult son!
But why stop at Ryan Gosling? If you’re good enough at photo manipulation you could have a whole slew of celebrities in your Christmas photos! Maybe Ariana Grande putting up your tree decorations and Chris Hemsworth holding some mistletoe? Something to think about for next year’s photos.
Excited. Engaged. Expecting. Emily.
This large family clearly wanted to display all of the exciting things that have happened to them over the past year. Who wouldn’t want to show off their newly engaged child on their Christmas card? Or the fact that another one of their kids is about to bring another child into the world? All very exciting news that grandmas, aunts, and uncles love to hear. But what about Emily?
Well, it seems that Emily doesn’t have all that much going on. She might not have major news like an engagement or an upcoming birth to share, but she’ll be darned if she won’t appear on the family Christmas card! She’s even got her own sign celebrating herself, you go girl!
