Jimi Hendrix

The first musician in our list is the legendary Jimi Hendrix. He had a short life but a long-lasting influence on the music industry. He was born in 1942 and has become one of the best musicians of the 20th century and he’s considered to be the most influential electric guitarist in the history. To this day, a lot of guitarists try to play like him or try to imitate him. He’s won many Grammy Awards and the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

He’s also sadly a part of the famous 27 club. He died of an accidental overdose in 1970 but not before getting to be the world’s highest-paid performer, and headlining 1969’s Woodstock Festival. He truly left a mark on the musical and artistic world.
