It’ll Go Up Somehow Some Way

There were a number of huge building projects that went on during the Depression, including the Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge.

These projects offered steady work to those who had lost their jobs and were looking for a way out.

It’ll Go Up Somehow Some Way

When Franklin D. Roosevelt took over, he immediately implemented his ‘New Deal’, part of which was opening a number of federal “Alphabet Agencies” like the NRA, TVA, CCC, and WPA.

All of this done in an attempt to create jobs and boost the economy, but experts debate until this day if the moves actually deepened and lengthened the Depression, or not.
