The 20 Most Expensive Colleges in the United States
2. Vassar College
Vassar is a surprise as America’s second most expensive college. In upstate New York, one can truly say, it is the great academics, not glitzy New York City, that draws in its students. Part of the Seven Sisters, the first elite universities that were only for women, Vassar went coed in 1969. Today it’s gender ratio balanced out and resembles that of most other universities, 56 women for every 44 men.
Tuition: $54,410
