Classroom Supply Movement starts After Arizona Teacher Posts Her Salary Online

Anyone who walked into Elisabeth Milich’s classroom could tell that she was an extremely devoted teacher. Her students at Whispering Wind Academy lacked nothing they needed to get a fulfilling education. But behind the colorful classroom and smiling students Elisabeth had a secret struggle. Due to the school’s lack of funding, Elisabeth was forced to pay for all her classroom supplies herself! Already a mother to three children of her own, Elisabeth found it extremely difficult to finance her work and home life on her limited teacher salary.

One day she had reached her breaking point, and decided she had to get her story out to the world. She wrote a Facebook post and hoped that her story would capture people’s attention. But the result was beyond anything she could’ve expected…
