Psychedelic Drugs Was a Problem for the Performers

Not only were attendees taking all kinds of drugs it is also always assumed that so were the performers, which may be the case but it wasn’t always voluntarily.

Lots of things were laced by it so lots of people didn’t really have an option on whether to get high or not, and that can be dangerous for those who are about to perform in front of half a million people.

Psychedelic Drugs Was a Problem for the Performers

Roger Daltrey of The Who noted in his memoir that it was almost impossible to find food backstage that wasn’t laced with LSD, he ended up getting dosed by drinking a cup of tea before his set, and he wasn’t happy about it.
