Traci, mom to 10 year old Kate, one of French’s students, was there for the ceremony as well as when she handed out the invitations at the assembly. She recalled and praised Kinsey treating her kids the same as she would family, and the look that lit up Kate’s face upon receiving the invitation was priceless.

After being invited, her daughter told basically everyone they saw in town about her teacher’s approaching wedding, and how she was a part of it. Kate herself added “I loved watching Miss Kinsey get married … I got to throw out flowers, and the mashed potatoes were so good.”
