It’s hard to fly without pilots. Well, it’s Impossible, in fact. But that was the problem one travel journalist was facing when her flight was delayed from Fort Lauderdale. “They ‘couldn’t find the pilots,” she remembers. So the pilot was a no show, and they had to call for backup.

She continued, “They even made that announcement.” Eventually, they had to call in new pilots: The original ones never showed up!
