One woman shared she was on trip from London to Newark and that day there were such strong winds , it took nine hours for the whole ordeal. The delay itself, though, took place after the flight actually landed, when everyone’s luggage was stuck in the cargo bay because the doors had ice all over it. This woman never returned to Newark airport since, and probably doesn’t plan to get back.
