The one and only , One Direction had enough influence to delay an entire British Airways flight traveling from Heathrow airport to LAX for 15 minutes so they could shop for some duty-free items. According to a band’s spokesman, the guys had left the airport between flights and had been stuck in traffic on the way back to the airport.

Well, when you’re that famous you can do anything and even delay a flight, nobody will say anything because well, they are the biggest boy band on the planet.
