People Who Seriously Missed the Mark

Posted by M. Green

50. Don’t What with Our Bare Hands?

There are two things this sign is trying to get across to customers, but we can’t really make out what that’s supposed to be. First things first, what are we not supposed to do to the food with our bare hands? Touch it? Eat it? Caress it? We need a verb in this sentence! Otherwise, Gary who never washes his hands is going to scoop up a handful of fries.

50. Don’t What with Our Bare Hands?

The second question I have about this sign is what the heck a concern spoon is supposed to be. I would understand if they wrote serving spoon, everyone knows what that is, but a concern spoon? Whatever it’s meant to be the title rubs me the wrong way.
