In today’s super litigious society, potentially anything can become a lawsuit. In order to reduce any risk, many businesses put up signs in order to prevent getting sued in the future.  However, this restaurant’s sign could actually backfire on them, as it encourages customers to do something that might hurt them. Better watch out for little kids who like to get their hands on everything in sight.

16. Please Ignore The Sign

Instead of warning customers to avoid touching the hot glass, the sign instead implores customers to please touch the hot glass.  This is clearly exactly the opposite of what they intended with their sign, and it’s all because of a lazy employee who decided not to check how the sign would look to customers.
