While it’s good to be kind to everyone you encounter, especially people working in the service industry, sometimes being overly polite can majorly backfire.  In the case of this woman, who ordered a cake from a bakery and included “thank you” after her instructions, it proved to be a terrible mistake. Maybe this will cause her to be a little ruder in the future.

It’s obvious that the bakery worker who received the request was committed to doing the absolute bare minimum at work that day, and here are the results.  The worker isn’t paid to analyze what is and isn’t part of what should be written on the cake – they’re straight-up writing whatever you send them.
