No Bills? If You Say So…

Signs like these are often placed in neighborhoods that don’t want their building covered in flyers, posters, or other advertisements. If you’ve ever passed through any city, suburban or otherwise, you’ve probably seen one of these before. But there appears to have been a rebellious someone who decided to defy the rules this sign was trying to enforce, but they did it in a pretty unexpected way.

By “Bills” the sign obviously means paper advertisements, but this anarchist took their rebellion in a different direction. Instead, they printed out the faces of people named Bill, from Bill Clinton to Bill Gates, even Bill Murray. Every Bill they could think of was stuck up on that sign because they’re too cool to follow the rules.

Daniel is Savage

This might seem like an innocent and slightly generic yearbook message, but it would appear that Daniel here was trying to sneak in a secret message. Once you’ve decided it you’ll start to think that he didn’t have the greatest four years of high school. He’s probably smiling in that photo because he can’t wait to graduate! 

Hopefully, Daniel won’t learn friendship, understanding, community, kindness, youth, optimism, and unity in college. With cleverness like his, we’re sure he got accepted into a top school, someplace that offers a more pleasant experience than Carlisle High School did. One thing we know for sure is that this yearbook quote will go down in history as the most rebellious of his year. 

Jackie Clearly Didn’t Study

The one thing we all dread about the education system is having to take exams. Test days are never fun, whether you’re cramming for a final in college or re-reading your notes for a middle-school pop quiz. Sometimes students will resort to desperate measures to ensure they don’t end up walking home with a failing grade.

Equipped with a tube of white-out, Jackie knew what had to be done. When a question was too difficult for her to answer she simply erased it altogether! She might’ve felt clever about breaking the rules but, as expected, her teacher caught the trick right away. A word to the wise; breaking the rules usually doesn’t work on an exam! 

Defying this Guy’s T-shirt

There are many types of statement shirts out there. Some tell people not to drive cars, others proclaim to “make love not war”, and, in the case of the man in the background of this photo, some say to stop taking selfies. We’ll bet he never thought he’d come across another person devious enough to include him and his anti-selfie t-shirt in a selfie!

The man holding the camera is all smiling as he creates the perfect ironic situation, the anti-selfie dude can do nothing but stand in his own defeat. He has been bested by a rebel who was too quick with a camera, one who refuses to obey the orders of a t-shirt. What a masterful act of anarchy! 

This Clever Graphing Graffiti

Graffiti is a pretty standard way of being rebellious. For decades, teenagers and young adults have purchased cans of spray paint to leave their mark on buildings everywhere. These come in a variety of code names, slogans, and images, but this vandal decided to leave a mark behind in a more creative way. The anarchy symbol is commonly found in graffiti, but why paint it outright when you can get some math involved.

Maybe this person just wanted to show off their graphing abilities, or maybe they only wanted math whizzes to be able to figure out the secret message behind the formula. Either way, we think this is a pretty clever way to leave graffiti behind, perhaps you might even consider it educational! 

This Mom is the Rule Breaker of the Family

If you’re a tech-savvy family you might have a group chat where mom, dad, and the rest of your siblings can talk to each other all at once. These chats can often cause chaos and hilarious moments, as everyone is pretty much free to say whatever they want whenever they want. But in this case, it’s the mother of the family who has decided to break the rules.

Her daughter made the simple request to have her mom refrain from using modern-day slang, something that would embarrass most children. What happened was a short exchange that resulted in the perfect moment for the mom to use the word again, her daughter just walked right into it! But hey, mom can help it if she’s just that with the times.

They Showed this Stapler the Whole World

This person went above and beyond to break the rules set in place for this stapler. The label clearly says not to remove it from the fourth floor, but this rebel just couldn’t resist. Instead of merely taking it to floor three or five, they decided to commit the ultimate act of defiance and take this stapler on a grand tour around the world.

It’s safe to say that this common piece of office equipment has been to more places than most people. It’s too bad it’s only an inanimate object, otherwise, it might’ve been having the time of its life. I mean imagine getting to go to Disneyland AND the Empire State Building. It’s not often we feel jealous of a stapler but this is one of those occasions.

Anarchy Can Start at Any Age

This photo below proves that you can be a rebel at any age. This little anarchist is sharing his ideals even on his elementary school homework. They’re making it clear to their teacher that they will not be confined to a box of rules, rather they will choose to be a proud free thinker. As you can see, the bottom of the page states “students may not write outside the box”. 

But this little kid decides to do just that, and they didn’t choose their words carelessly, either. They could’ve written any string of nonsensical words outside the box, but instead, they decided to make a statement that will no doubt stick out in their teacher’s mind. Now everyone will know what a free thinker they are! 

A Cake with a Hidden Surprise

The baker behind this confection was probably instructed to create a cake based on the Argentinian flag. They did a pretty great job with the frosting, the colors are all there as is the sun symbol that the Latin American country’s flag is known for. However, when the customer cut into their baked treat they would be greeted by an unexpected surprise!

It looks like the baker has snuck the flag of a different country on the inside of the cake. Instead of following the blue and white pattern of the frosting, the inside of the cake displays the black, red, and yellow of the German flag. Perhaps the baker hailed from Germany and wanted to sneak in a little national pride?

This Kid is a Natural Rebel

School picture day is a time-honored tradition that many students can’t stand. But what can they do aside from smiling when they’re told? Well, this little boy had a rebellious spirit that neither he nor the school system could contain. He would’ve gotten in trouble if he pulled a face or wore an outrageous t-shirt, so he went for a more subtle route. 

We wonder how long it took for teachers and parents to realize that he had flipped off the cameraman! This little guy was pretty clever, and by the expression on his face, it looks like he knows it. No doubt his popularity got a major boost once his classmates found out about this bad-boy stunt.

A Produce Related Loophole

There are times when university dorms enforce rigid rules that take away many aspects of fun you would have in college. Usually, alcohol and smoking are among these rules, but this is a pretty unusual one. We guess it had to be Halloween time when the “no pumpkin” rule was put into place, preventing students from making any kind of festive jack-o-lanterns. But one student found a loophole.

The rule never said anything about making jack-o-lanterns, it only stated that pumpkins were prohibited. In total compliance with the rules, this university student hallowed out a pineapple to create one anyway! Technically they cannot get in trouble because it’s not actually a pumpkin, but they’re still able to celebrate Halloween in a tropical style. 

Getting Told Off By a Box

Sometimes you break the rules and end up getting told off. After all, our actions have consequences that we must face, however, you wouldn’t think one of those consequences would be delivered by a box. It’s one thing for a sign to give you instructions, it’s another story entirely when it insults you! It almost feels like the box is the rebellious one.

Maybe this person will think twice the next time they want to disobey the rules. Then again, a TRUE anarchist wouldn’t care what a silly box had to say to them. Rule-breaking comes at a price, and one of those is having to bear the brunt of being insulted by inanimate objects.

Technically Following the Rules

No doubt the manager of this office was fed up with beverages being spilled all over the place. You can beg your employees to be more careful but at the end of the day, the only thing you can really trust is a cap on the cup. Whoever wrote this note might’ve wanted to think twice about the wording they used.

One office worker decided they had enough of the rules. They wanted to disobey this sign while still avoiding a messy coffee spill. No cups without screws on top? You got it, boss. This person clearly made the effort to show that the rules needed to be broken. Oh well, at least the surface is clean! 

This Diver Doesn’t Do What He’s Told

Shallow pools usually have some kind of sign that instructs swimmers not to dive. The last thing any business wants is a lawsuit from a reckless swimmer who cannonballed and broke both their ankles. While these rules are meant to protect people’s safety they don’t take into account smartasses who love looking for loopholes.

It would appear that this scuba fanatic found a way to break the rules and not his bones. Fully equipped with all the required gear, this man is fully prepared for some deep-sea diving. The ocean might be too far away, but this pool should do the trick! We wonder if any attendants will ask him to vacate the premises. 

An Apple Fanboy at Play

It’s a debate as old as time; Microsoft vs Apple. Fans of one operating system or the other are known for getting into heated arguments online or in person. It looks like one prankster has decided to make sure their preferred company is the only one used in this office! That or the company decided to switch over to Apple and never changed the logo outside the office.

Either way, someone in this office has got a rebellious spirit. This is almost the same as having Coca-Cola in a bottle of Pepsi or vice versa, it’s simply not done. If this really was the work of a mischievous worker then hats off to them, this has got to be the ultimate office prank! 

Flaunting Their Preferred Sneaker

Maybe the person who put up this sign is a hardcore fan of Converse Chuck Taylors or Nike sneakers, that’s why they don’t want to allow any Vans high tops in the vicinity. But this bold individual is going to have none of that, they’re going to sport their black Vans sneakers wherever they please, and no one is going to tell them otherwise.

In reality, this sign is referring to vehicles and not shoes, it just so happens that “High Top Vans” is a title that works for a car and a sneaker. But let’s not spoil this person’s moment of mild anarchy, we can let them think that they’re a rule breaker just a little bit longer

A Reckless Label Maker on the Loose

Label makers are a common staple in the family of supplies you’ll find in offices. The only problem is that people have a tendency to think the label maker is a toy, and not a serious piece of equipment that is meant for work purposes only. That must be why the original label was printed on the maker, to try and avoid any label-related hijinks from ensuing.

But it looks like there’s a jokester walking among the workers of this office because someone has already broken this rule and stuck their unnecessary label right on the label maker. Now whoever made this rule in the first place is going to soon see that they’ve been openly defied. 

China’s on the Patio

This woman will not be ordered around by a sign that discriminates against her ethnicity. Though it appears this sign is referring to fine china, you know, the kind you might find in your grandparent’s display cabinet, we don’t want to take away her act of defiance. This sign might have written “NO CHINA ON PATIO” in all capital letters, but that didn’t stop this Chinese woman from breaking the rules.

She’s sipping her ice coffee on the patio in style, just try and stop her! Though most likely no one will try and stop her, it sure does make for a funny photo. After seeing this sign we can imagine she wasn’t about to pass up this photo opportunity! 

Is This a Reverse Psychology Trick?

Businesses with signs like these use them for a variety of purposes. Sometimes they’re merely used to display what the store sells, other times they like to put up a joke or play on words to catch people’s attention. Whatever gimmick the store owner was trying here must be some kind of a secret, because he did NOT want the sign put up on the internet for everyone to see.

Or perhaps this is some kind of reverse psychology trick, by telling people not to take a picture of the sign and upload it online they know that’s exactly what people will do. They’re playing into people’s natural desire to rebel against signs in order to get free publicity!  

Having an “After Eight” Before Eight

After Eights are mint chocolate sweets that, based on the title, is meant to be enjoyed in the evening hours. Think of it as a little treat to reward yourself for a long day of work, something you can unwind with. However, this bad boy over here wasn’t going to follow the rules of this chocolate. There isn’t a chocolate in the world that can order him around! 

He has taken this picture with a clock in full view, and as you can clearly see he has already taken a bite of the candy before 8 o’clock in the evening. How he is able to perform such a defiant act we’ll never know, but we salute his brazenness. 

They Left a Tip Anyway

Whoever saw this sign wasn’t going to let anyone tell them not to leave a tip. This sign most likely was referring to tipping over whatever this object is, but this rookie anarchist took it in a different direction. They managed to break the rules without causing any kind of havoc, and hey, someone in this building probably got a free dollar! 

We’re not sure whether this tip was left for the person who put the sign up, or the people who work on the floor of this building, but some lucky son of a gun probably got a free soda out of someone else’s mild rebellious act. If only we could all perform acts of anarchy like this. 

Picking Up Your Dog if it Poops

Now, this is a photo of a man who just might be taking things a little bit too literally. The sign next to him is a pretty common one, especially in places like public parks. No one wants to come across piles of dog doo that neglectful owners have failed to pick up. But when they say “pick it up” they are referring to the poo, not the dog!

We just hope this rebel picked up the poop and the dog, otherwise, we’re going to be a little bit annoyed with him. We’ve all had a moment where we accidentally stepped in a pile of dog business and it’s definitely not a pleasant one. Pick up your dog all you want but be sure you don’t forget its poop!

Even Celebrities Get Rebellious

Rebels can come from all walks of life, and celebrities are certainly not excluded from being defiant every now and again. Actor Nathan Fillion decided to take this moment to share his little act of anarchy on Instagram. The sign states not to take photos or give out autographs, but Nate over here wasn’t going to have a sign boss him around.

The Firefly and Dr. Horrible actor promptly took out a sharpie and gave an autograph to the sign itself! He’s got a pretty fancy looking signature too, truly one befitting an act of rule-breaking. Will he get away with it just because he’s a celebrity? Probably, but that doesn’t make his rebelliousness any less hilarious.

Now What, Pea Hater? 

People are willing to spend a little extra cash if it means getting a vanity license plate. Why have a random combination of letters and numbers when you can showcase your personality instead? This person’s defining characteristic is clearly their intense dislike of peas. We’re not sure why they hate them so much, but it looks like sharing that information backfired on them.

Someone actually went to the trouble of buying a bag of frozen peas for this prank! Now that’s some dedication to shaking up the system. We hope someone ended up using them for something, we’d hate to think they just melted in the sun like that. Maybe this pea hater was able to look past their aversion and try something new. 

He’s Thinking SO Hard

Sometimes signs go beyond trying to control your actions. For example, here the sign could have simply said “don’t touch the thermostat”, but instead it went a step further and wrote, “don’t even think about touching the thermostat”. Well, this fellow here decided to break that rule right away, and he was even able to get his rebelliousness captured on camera.

It isn’t easy to prove what exactly you are thinking about, but he somehow figured out a way to portray himself in the midst of thinking about touching the thermostat. In fact, it seems he was thinking so hard that he imagined four versions of himself touching it. Now that’s what we call breaking the rules!

What Would the Founding Fathers Say?

All types of snack and candy brands put out themed versions of their product for various holidays. This is especially easy to do when you’re selling colorful sweets like Skittles, simply change the colors and your brand is ready for any occasion! This particular version is celebrating the anniversary of America’s independence, but someone managed to use those colors to send a rebellious message.

You’ve got to have a lot of nerve to turn USA-themed candies into the British flag! What would the Founding Fathers have thought? They would’ve wondered what these sweet, chewy candies are, and questioned how the manufacturers created them in so many colors. All in all, this is some harmless rule-breaking that actually got a laugh out of us.

A Sandwich with Chaotic Energy

Some people just exude chaotic energy, and this guy is definitely one of those individuals. There are many ways to make a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, everyone thinks their method is the best. Whether it’s the type of jelly or crunchy vs creamy PB, it’s hard to do this childhood lunch wrong. This might be the one incorrect way to assemble it.

We’re gagging just thinking about how sticky his fingers are going to get while eating this. There are people willing to put themselves through agony just to break the rules, and this is the perfect example. Here’s a person who refuses to go with the flow, even if that means getting his hands dirty! 

He is a Rebel

There are times when school assignments ask small children to write simple answers on their homework. These are questions that don’t attempt to test their knowledge, rather, they want them to describe themselves in their own words. This paper simply wanted the student to describe themselves but in a very limited number of words. But this student found that number insufficient.

Instead of describing themselves in three words, they decided to be a little anarchist and describe themselves in four, and what words did they select? “I am a rebel”, short and to the point, the perfect way to illustrate the kind of person they really are. We think that this kid is really going to go places. 

Doggo Doesn’t Care

Dogs have a way of getting into our hearts, but they’re also very good at breaking the rules! Housepets usually have designated areas where they are and aren’t allowed to lounge around. Most people want to keep their chairs and sofas free of pet hair. Enter this pillow that states where the dog is not allowed to sit.

But silly humans, dogs can’t read! It seems this canine has no interest or understanding of the furniture rules of this household. He’s going to plop his big furry body wherever he pleases. He looks pretty content and relaxed, we don’t think we’d have the heart to tell him to get off. His owner will just have to move that pillow elsewhere! 

This Dog is Happy to Rebel

This doggo is smiling from ear to ear, she’s just so happy that now dogs are allowed in this area! That is as long as she’s sitting on the “no” that is clearly written on the pavement. But for now, the sign clearly states “dog’s allowed”, so puppers of all breeds are free to come and go as they please. 

She just looks so pleased with herself to have figured a way around this anti-dog rule. Maybe she plopped down there by accident, or maybe it was a premeditated strike, but it sure makes her look like a more clever dog than most. It looks like dogs are better at breaking the rules than we thought! 

This Duck Could Not Care Less

Zoos often have a number of enclosures that are emptied in order to clean out space or care for the animal that lives inside of it. To make sure people don’t stand around waiting for an animal that won’t appear, the staff will usually put up a sign like this, informing the public that there are no animals in the exhibit. But there was one duck who decided he wanted to fight the system.

Maybe this duck wasn’t even part of any of the zoo’s exhibits, he could’ve flown over from a nearby park. Either way, he’s decided to make the sign inaccurate by settling down in the otherwise empty enclosure. Now there IS an animal in the exhibit, and he’s not going anywhere anytime soon! 

Even the Beatles Were Rebels

Anarchy is no modern invention, as you can clearly see from this black and white photo of everyone’s favorite English band! If anyone’s above these rules it has got to be the Beatles, who are seen here openly defying this “please keep off the grass” sign. They don’t even care that someone has whipped out a camera and has gotten proof of their defiance.

The Beatles rose to fame during a time of sticking it to the man, so it’s really no surprise to see them breaking the rules in a picture like this. They might have even put that sign up themselves just for the neat photo opportunity, and it’s a definite fact that they look cooler than ever in this picture.

Breaking Every Rule All at Once

This is a guy who is fully committed to the art of rule-breaking. You can clearly see the sign next to him that prohibits a number of different activities, including talking on the phone, drinking alcohol, eating food, and smoking. Somehow this guy managed to do all four at the same time, no matter how much of an inconvenience it must have been for him to pull it off.

By breaking every rule the sign states he has become the ultimate rebel of this building, perhaps anyone whose job it is to enforce the rules will be so impressed by his commitment that he’ll let him continue what he’s doing. After all, someone who can break all the rules at once deserves some kind of pass. 

A Supermarket Worker Causing Chaos

Someone working at this supermarket clearly wanted to mess with shoppers. It’s either that or they’re not smart enough to tell the difference between onions and potatoes, personally, we prefer to believe the first option. It shouldn’t take too long for the average grocery shopper to realize that the potato they’ve picked out of the pile is actually an onion, but they’ll probably appreciate the sense of anarchy that comes along with this kind of set up.

We wonder if the supermarket has similar setups for different types of produce, perhaps this mischievous store clerk has already swapped the grapefruits with the oranges and the apples with tomatoes. That would certainly make for a bewildering shopping experience! 

The Ultimate Act of Anarchy

99% of people will realize what a horrible transgression this person has committed. If you happen to be informed, whether pineapple can go on pizza is probably the most controversial subject in our society today, and this person has decided to make the ultimate statement on it. Instead of covering a cheese pizza in the questionable topping, they took it to the next level.

Now the base of the entire pizza is a pineapple itself! A pretty bold move if you ask us, we just hope there wasn’t an angry mob knocking down his door once this photo was uploaded. Sometimes rebels need to answer for their chaotic acts, and this is definitely one controversy that’s sure to stir up trouble. 

Your New Name is Cark

Coffee shop baristas are notorious for misspelling people’s names. In fact, this has people such a common occurrence that there’s a trend of photographing your name on the side of your cup. Those who are particular about this sort of thing will clearly tell their barista how their name is spelled so as to avoid any mistakes. 

But it looks like Marc’s plan totally backfired on him. The minute he picked up his cup of morning brew he knew something went terribly wrong. The barista had probably grown tired of people telling her how their names are spelled, she decided to take things into her own hands. From hereon out Marc will be known as Cark! 

This Dog Plays by His Own Rules

Humans aren’t the only species who like to get up to a bit of anarchy, sometimes even members of the animal kingdom like to break the rules. This beach had a sign up that wanted to prevent dogs from roaming around on it, but this rebellious doggo wasn’t going to play by the rules. He ripped the sign out of the sand and is now making a run for it! 

Now canines of all shapes and sizes are free to play around on this beach, there is no longer a sign that forbids them from doing so. If it weren’t for this one anarchist dog then the beach would still be a dog-free zone, puppers everyone should sniff his butt in respect.

No Hotdogs Allowed! 

Signs often need to use symbols to indicate what they want people to do, or not do. Symbols are a universal language that people can understand regardless of what language they might speak. However, sometimes the icons used in public places can get bizarre. We get that this bus is trying to say “no food allowed on the bus”, but why use a picture of two hot dogs?

Not to mention, neither hot dog is in a bun! Was there an issue of passengers boarding the bus while holding naked sausages? That’s a double entendre that we didn’t intend to write, and it just makes the sign all the more strange. Kudos to this dude for breaking the rules to draw attention to the weirdness.

A Heartless Reply to a Tweet

There are many different companies that offer music streaming services, Apple Music is one of the bigger players in the game. They took to Twitter in an attempt to get their users engaged with their brand, but what they got back instead was a smarmy individual who decided to have a little bit of fun at their expense. Apple Music asked what everyone was listening to that morning…

…and this Twitter user replied with “Spotify”. Spotify is, of course, one of their competitors, and possibly the biggest music streaming service in the world. It must’ve been a harsh burn for whoever was running the Apple music Twitter account, that was quite the scathing remark. Clearly, Ellie does not give a damn.

Which Came First? 

What was placed in this room first, the lettering or the video camera? This question needs to be answered in order to understand what part of this wall is contradicting the other. Maybe the motivational phrase is meant to deter people from paying mind to the camera. On the other hand, the surveillance equipment could be mocking the message of the phrase.

It’s all so complicated, we just wanted to take our jazzercise class in peace! Once you notice this contradiction it’s going to be the only thing you can pay attention to. You’re going to dance like someone who’s trying to solve a very complicated mystery. Doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun to us.

Using a Blade to Open

Most of us use a box cutter or sharp knife to open shipments of this kind, it’s the easiest way to break through the duct tape and get to whatever’s inside. However, the item that came in this box must have been too delicate to have a blade anywhere near it, hence the warning we see on the cardboard box.

But this fella found a way to break that rule without damaging his package. Don’t use a blade to open? Well, that’s exactly what he decided to do. Except he didn’t use any sharp objects here, he used a DVD of the movie Blade. Still technically using a blade to open, just not the one they were referring to. 

Not His Preferred Superhero Brand

This little boy got to meet a couple of actors that most kids could only dream of meeting. Loki and Thor in the flesh, smiling for a photo with this kiddo. So what’s the problem with this wholesome photo? No problem, just that this child wore an absolutely perfect shirt for the occasion. Marvel actors? Screw that, he’s a DC fan! 

Someone bring in Superman and Batman to really put a smile on this kid’s face. If this was intentional then we have to admire the nerve of this boy to wear a shirt from a competitor’s brand. Not that Tom Hiddleson and Christ Hemsworth would care all that much, at the end of the day they’re still getting paid! 

A Clear Refusal

This is probably the most dramatic way to refuse a request to return a whiteboard marker. Not only did they write in all caps, but they also used the exact tool that the people wanted back. It’s honestly a bit obnoxious. Forget being a rule breaker, this thief is a step further than that. They’re full-on starting a mutiny. 

The real question is what’s going to happen next? Are they going to find a more forceful way to get their property back? There isn’t much you can enforce when you leave a nice note. This looks like it could be the beginning of an all out war between classrooms. Guard your dry erase boards, this is about to get crazy!

One Knife To Rule Them All

There’s no question what this knife would prefer to be cutting. But unfortunately, it’s not the master of its destiny. Humans are. This poor knife is cutting up onions instead. The one food that makes you cry as you slice it. If the knife had tear ducts, maybe it would be crying too. Cheese is a thousand times milder than cutting an onion.

It’s anyone’s guess if the knife was in fact suitable for cutting things other than cheese. Cheese knives are specifically made with holes to reduce friction making it easier to cut particularly soft and sticky cheeses. But this person obviously doesn’t care about the details of cutlery. They probably use a fork to eat soup. 

Stubbornly, They Lived

This sign is probably more funny than accurate, but the spray painted response makes it all the better. It’s honestly a bit of a weird thing to pay billboard advertising for. It’s incredibly unclear what they are trying to sell. If you squint at the small print, it has something to do with medical treatments, but still, not the best advertising. And with this new addition, the whole billboard becomes a joke. 

Not only is this a definite act of rebellion and graffiti, it’s also a show of how stubborn the writer is. It’s incredibly ironic. This person is determined to prove that being stubborn can lead to a long and fulfilling life. Maybe they’re right. 

The Power Of Thought

This guy is sticking it to the man with his beautifully staged rebellious photograph. He saw an opportunity to be petty and seized it. It’s unclear why this homeowner felt the need to be so aggressive about where people are allowed to park. No one is going to try and park in their front yard. They really don’t need to be that worried. People usually have enough common sense to know that a freshly manicured lawn is not a parking space. 

This guy decided to give these homeowners a taste of their own stupidity. The pose and the facial expression are just hilarious. With such a strong thinking pose, you almost wish that he could manifest a car parked right next to that tree. 

Rebellion In The Animal Kingdom

This bird is the spitting image of the silhouette on the sign. It’s almost too good to be true. This photographer should get a medal for capturing such a precious and rebellious moment. This bird is the baddest of them all. It doesn’t care one bit that the surface it landed on is a no bird sign. It’s owning that perch.

Why these tiny birds are not allowed in the area is up for discussion. Usually, signs with animals on them are warnings. They remind people to be on the lookout in order to prevent the creatures from getting hit by a car. But in this case, it seems like people would almost be encouraged to run them over. Jokes on them though, birds have amazing reflexes. 

Who Needs Gender?

This man decided to pick the only book on the shelf explicitly not meant for him. Probably very few titles actively try to exclude half of the population, since book sales are what bring in the revenue. So there must be a very good reason why they’re trying to only appeal to one gender. Either that, or it’s some serious reverse psychology at work. 

If you look closely, you can see the photos of the authors. “Gary Null” is most definitely a man’s name and his picture confirms it. How does an only female book have a male co-author? Regardless, this gentleman decided to show his rebellious side and sit down and read the forbidden book in the middle of the store. Let’s hope he didn’t start a riot.

Insert Straw Anywhere

This person woke up and chose violence. Instead of sliding the straw into the hole it was designed for, they decided to force their way in on the other side. For literally no reason other than to be a rebel. The juice tastes the same no matter how you drink it. You could cut the whole top off and it would still be an identical product. 

Maybe this person didn’t want to look at the expiration date. Or maybe they were trying to prove something. Either way, it’s a very clear message that this person doesn’t follow or read directions. They probably try to build Ikea furniture alone, without the booklet. But brute force can’t solve everything. 

All Dressed Up And Ready To Rebel

These cartoons found in the New York City subway are on just about every other platform. They warn against eating food, spreading your stuff all over the seats, and performing. But anyone that’s actually been to NYC knows that those signs don’t stop any of that behavior. Everyone that visits sees at least one “illegal” subway performance.

This person took the rebellion to the next level. They decided to dress the part. Of the cartoon. It seems like they could use some help getting into the correct position, but they definitely get an A for effort. This demonstration truly exemplifies how much people in the Big Apple will just do their thing with no regards to anyone.  

Almost Autocorrect

Honestly, if you look at the name of the doctor, it basically autocorrects in your head to ‘hedgehog’. The person writing the last two letters is just expressing what everyone else is already thinking. Like what is that random ‘h’ doing in the end of the name anyway? Is it silent or pronounced? 

It’s also incredibly unfortunate that this doctor can’t just relax a little and go along with the joke. It seems like the ‘hedgehog’ joke might be a bit of a sore spot for them. But lo and behold, the rebel writer doesn’t seem to care. Even after a death threat, they just kept on doing the work and turning the esteemed doctor into a small animal. 

A True Squatter

This man is such a rebel. Not only did he plant a chair next to the anti-chair sign, he had the audacity to use it as a footrest. Talk about a bold choice. This guy could start a protest. Unfortunately for him, it seems like he has some trouble coming his way. That fluorescent shirt doesn’t look like it belongs to an innocent passerby. 

Let’s hope this guy thinks his small act of rebellion is worth the fine he’ll have to pay. A true rule breaker would probably pay the money with pride, or talk their way out of it. But honestly, no amount of charm could help someone to escape from such a blatant disregard for the rules. It’s not like he can claim that he didn’t see the sign. His feet are literally on top of it.
