People Hilariously Put Toxic Men In Their Place
We appreciate the great guys out there who respect women and don’t post awful comments on the internet. But where’s the fun in that? There are too many great examples of women putting toxic men in their place to ignore the entertainment toxic masculinity brings. From a hypocritical pastor who cheats on his wife, to a guy starting a fight on a woman’s YouTube channel without realizing his engagement is earning her more money. We’ve found no shortage of toxic guys who claim to be “nice” as a mask for their true selves, those who accuse women of a hidden agenda when they truly do like cars.
These are the men who can’t believe a woman could succeed in a STEM career. Get ready.
Religion Only Applies When I Feel Like It
We’re sending out blessings to all of the religious people out there who actually practice what they preach. This would not include blessings to all of the religious people on how “The only married G-d will ever recognize is between a man and a woman” after cheating on his wife.
You don’t have to be devout to know one of the Ten Commandments famously says you cannot commit adultery. But Hagee decided this law wouldn’t apply to his life, even though his marriage is one G-d “will recognize”. He clearly values making hypocritical statements on Twitter to be more important than being a faithful husband.
Turns Out That School Helps Us in Real Life
When you were sitting in your high school geometry class trying to find the angle of a triangle, there was no doubt you were wondering if any of this was really worth it. And there are many things we learn in school that we never use later on in life. But one of the most important lessons to take away from education is stronger social skills.
Combine all of the time you spent learning about yourself, how relationships work, and making friends with your psychology degree, and you’re prepared to call out toxic men in the real world! Alex won’t get away with trying to insult you because you know that his low self-esteem is the reason for his immature behavior.
No One Asked You, Jeremy
A chill bar is a nice way to unwind, and ways of relaxing look different for everyone. You can chat up some new people if you’re feeling outgoing, make happy hour plans with old friends, or enjoy a beer and a book by yourself. What bars aren’t for is his judgment. But what’s a toxic man without giving his opinion when no one asked?
In our humble opinion, the people who bring books to the bar are ranked way higher in society than Jeremy. We can tell he loves to approach women who are reading with a pick-up line like: “You know, I read a book once. Then I went out and joined the real world.” Stay home next time, Jer.
Ben Shapiro Can’t Be Relatable
There’s nothing wrong with having your own opinion on controversial issues. It’s beneficial for society to have public discourse and debate on how to handle problems. As long as you’re respectfully sharing your beliefs, social media is a great tool to start a conversation. The problem is when toxic men act as though they can speak for everyone.
Ben Shapiro posted on his Twitter about how if people have to work multiple jobs to support themselves, it’s their fault for not pursuing a higher-paying career. Does he not understand sometimes you need to do what you can to make it through a tough time? This rich kid tried to speak for the working class by saying that’d be a ‘you’ problem… enough.
Incel Gets Burned for His Terrible Personality
Everyone deserves to feel like they’re in touch with their sexuality and they’re getting their needs met, no matter their gender. For many women who don’t have or don’t want someone in their lives to have sex with, they do it on their own. But toxic men can’t bear the thought of a woman waiting until they’re ready to have sex with someone else over depriving men of their bodies.
How could they let these millions of men stay virgins? Selfish. It’s almost like (read: JUST like) these guys have terrible personalities and women do not want to spend even a second around them. This guy’s comment proves he is one of the many toxic men to be avoided at all costs.
The True Costs of Being a Woman
Toxic men like to invalidate the true costs of being a woman. “Who is paying for your dates,” says this toxic response. Seriously? You’re about to get massacred. Say this guy’s getting ready for a date (if he can get one at all). We’re guessing he’ll take a shower, put on some cologne, and throw on the same old pair of jeans he always wears.
The unlucky woman going on a date with him has to pay for all of the clothing, makeup, hair products, and personal hygiene items expected from females in today’s society. The cost of being a woman starts in the early teens, from buying tampons and pads to paying for gynecologist visits. It’s not easy!
Two Wrongs Don’t Make Right
There’s a funny video on YouTube of Joe Rogan trying his best not to check out Ronda Roussey but failing at it. What’s not as funny are these Reddit comments talking about it. One guy said she wasn’t even hot and was a 6.5 at best. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but no one benefits from calling someone else ugly on the internet!
The woman who called him out also handled the situation wrong. Yes, no one cares about this guy’s opinion, but she didn’t need to say he was obese and sporting a neckbeard with Cheeto crumbs in it. His comments reveal he’s 10% toxic and 90% stupid. Why not let him be an idiot in peace?
Ah Yes, Saying No to Sex Is Oppression
Every woman can relate to this: You’re with a guy and you don’t want to get intimate. Maybe you’re really tired, maybe you’re stressed, or maybe you’re not in the mood. But toxic guys don’t think a “no” in itself is reason enough, so you have to make up the excuse of having a headache to get them to respect your space.
These kinds of people will go so far as to say females have the “privilege” of getting to make up a headache so they don’t have to have sex. How is this a good thing? This guy genuinely believes men are entitled to have sex whenever they ask for it.
“Putting Up” With Your Friends
Many guys still don’t know what the definition of a friend is. This is usually someone you enjoy spending time with because of who they are, not because of what you can get from them. You give each other emotional support because you want them to feel better, not because you want them to see how great of a guy you are and date you.
So don’t go complaining you’re “putting up” with the emotions of a woman who friend-zoned you. If you were really her friend, you would genuinely want to be there for her. So decide you’re going to get over yourself or tell her it’s not a healthy decision for you just to be her friend.
Not This Guy’s Peak Moment
Everyone can look back on their life and recognize their peaks. For some of us, it could be in high school. For others, it may be our 20s or 30s. A few of us are living our best lives well into late adulthood. One thing’s for sure: There’s no age that will magically be the best time… unless you’re this toxic guy.
His impeccable logic is that women hit their peak at age 23 and lose their desirability by 10% each year after (how scientific!). He even uses big words like “increasingly repulsed” to bolster his argument. But Kate knows the truth. This dude is clearly a 23-year-old virgin looking to score.
Nice Guys and Their Big Hearts
What’s the fastest way to spot a nice guy? They will tell anyone who will listen how kind-hearted they are and complain about how people take advantage of their good intentions. They need constant approval from others about how great they are because they can’t accept being “nice” doesn’t mean others want their opinions.
Case in point: This sweetheart called his friend’s boyfriend vulgar names because of his own wrong opinion. When he was told to back off, he then went on Facebook to complain about the situation – complete with pulling the “I’m so ashamed, pity me,” card. It’s clear this girl has a handle on her relationship and doesn’t need this so-called friend in her life.
Dale Has One Woman in Mind…
Dale went to the extremes with this Twitter post by calling out all women in their late 30s who decided not to have children. They’re not people who realized being a mother wasn’t the right choice for them – No, their poor choices will leave them with “a total sense of emptiness in their twilight years.”
Read between the lines here, and it’s pretty evident Dale’s aggressive post isn’t targeted to all single 39-year-old women. He definitely asked some 39-year-old out, and she wasn’t interested. A huge shoutout to Sarah for offering this guy a proper solution. But with his ego, we wouldn’t be surprised if he deleted her comment.
What Happened to Billie Eilish?
Social media has the power to be a real game-changer in our society. Apart from keeping everyone connected, it can bring attention to corruption, help us understand world news, and get public opinion on important issues. But people have found one of the dumbest uses of social media possible, cyberbullying, especially when it comes to celebrities.
This entire Twitter account is dedicated to commenting on the talented celebrity’s life choices. Eilish’s response is an example of why she’s so well-liked: She shut down this person’s criticism with a simple “I can do what I want.” Billie Eilish won’t let anyone rain on her parade.
We Think His Kid’s Names Are Pretty Funny
Elon Musk is a household name, whether you’re familiar with his groundbreaking work with SpaceX or revolutionizing tech with Tesla. What he’s not known for is his sense of humor. His receding hairline, maybe. His Twitter takeover? Definitely. But his sense of humor? No one would put Elon Musk in the top spot for their favorite stand-up comedians.
This doesn’t stop Musk from trying to be funny and relatable with his tweet saying: “Comedy is now legal on Twitter.” We get it, he’s trying to be clever. But Sasha called him out. The only thing she forgot to mention is how funny we think the names of Musk’s kids are. Nevada, Saxa, Exa Dark, and X AE A-XII are laughably bad.
Don’t Forget Your Mom Did It, Too
Stormy Daniels has been a notorious figure in the news for being an adult film actress and supposedly receiving a payout after an alleged affair with Donald Trump. But even if you judge her for those parts of her life, you can’t say she’s not well-rounded. She’s written books, directed, acted, owned a CBD line, and ran a charity events company.
Of course, this toxic guy will give her a hard time for the part of her life which is the easiest for society to pick apart. Stormy didn’t take it to heart, though: She gave it right back to him! Nothing hits harder than getting 45,000 likes on a comment degrading your mom.
This Guy Doesn’t Own a Car
Since the beginning of time, there have been things made “for men” and things “for women.” As gender roles have shifted, a large part of society has begun to accept women and men are equal and alike in many ways. But there are still toxic men out there who like to make up their own gender rules to feel like they have power.
One guy boldly asserted that BMWs are for men and Mercedes are for women. (There is no logic here, so don’t even try to understand.) This woman puts him in his place by reminding him the car that’s made for him is the one he can afford. Meaning: This guy has no money to buy a car and resorts to social media to complain.
This Sexism Is Not Sexism
You failed your driver’s test not because you don’t know how to drive, but because you don’t understand the difference between the gas and the brake pedal. He didn’t ask you out because he doesn’t like you, but because he wants to go on dates with other girls. And employers favor men not because they have a prejudice against women, but because they believe men are better at completing tasks.
You can try to put it any way you want to, but no matter how you phrase something, the true meaning will always reveal itself. Read the article behind this caption and you’ll see there’s more than meets the eye. Unfortunately, simply reading the tweet will leave you with the impression of a “this sexism is not sexism” argument.
We Get Rich From Your Misogyny
It’s 2023, and sexist YouTube comments aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’s too easy to troll another person from the security of an anonymous username and a computer screen. Unfortunately, toxic men represent a large amount of these anonymous insults. It would be pretty bold to say to a woman’s face how YouTube shouldn’t recommend tech content from a woman.
Many women have had enough of rude cowards who have nothing better to do. This tech Youtuber reminded this guy she is not only more than qualified to be speaking about the topic, but she is also making money from this video. All’s well that ends well.
All Women Do Is Cry
STEM makes all women cry. So do movies, babies, puppies, flowers, weddings, drinking water, walking, sleeping, and breathing. Everyone knows they’re too emotional to function in society and couldn’t possibly handle working in a high-stress industry. When the going gets tough, females break down. Yeah, right. If anyone’s crying here, it’s this toxic guy who got SHUT DOWN by this woman’s response.
He’s starving for female attention and will do anything to feel like he has someone interested in him. If this is what makes him feel better… congratulations, we guess? PS: Everyone we know has cried at least once when getting a degree in STEM. Academia doesn’t discriminate when it comes to making you question your entire life.
A Sexist Man Who Uses an MLK Profile Picture Is a NO
There’s a guy named Eric out there who thought he knew enough about women’s psychology to post advice on Twitter to men. But he clearly doesn’t know how to use a real profile picture of himself or include any legitimate research or sources. Instead, he tries to distract you from the toxicity of his words with a Martin Luther King Jr. portrait and a dumb hashtag.
Thanks to this educated woman with a Ph.D. for calling out this ignorant swine he was put in his place. What is she supposed to do, not write down words he doesn’t like in her profession? He should take his own advice and focus on his own life rather than trying to promote a value system literally no one asked him to talk about.
The Key to Your Toxic Nonsense
Who doesn’t love a toxic man showing off with a metaphor? This comment came from a Reddit post joking and saying dads were happy if their sons were players but would freak out if they saw their daughters talking to a guy. This comment is the epitome of the double standard men and women face.
This toxic commenter who dared to bring Gandhi into his uncountable nonsense didn’t get the last word. The woman who called him out used a metaphor of her own to say it’s actually the guy in this situation who is “small and useless.” This is what happens when it’s used by too many sharpeners.
I Love Driving Cars. That’s It.
Women often get called out for making things more difficult than they need to be. Toxic men love to tell women they’re overanalyzing situations, they’re unpredictable, and they’re “too complicated.” But here’s an example of a toxic guy who can’t take a situation for what it is at face value.
He picks a fight with a woman who posts a car on her Instagram story, asking her if it’s “feminist acting” or “ a repetition of male acting.” Obviously, women can’t enjoy cars unless they’re looking to promote a feminist agenda or attract male attention. This situation isn’t complicated at all, though. She loves driving her car. That’s it.
Only Took 100 Women to Find Out
We all reach a point in our dating lives when we realize we’re not where we want to be. Maybe we’ve always wanted a relationship but it never seems to work out. Maybe it’s been our intention to date casually and we keep the focus on our careers, but we keep drawing in people who aren’t on the same page.
And then something clicks: Maybe we’re the problem. Then comes a lot of personal growth. Or you could be like this guy, 100 women and 25 years later, complaining on Twitter about how he wasted 100% of his time with them. Really? Not 1% of the time was valuable? Now we understand why 100 women left you…
Teenagers on Reddit Are Sexist
At what age do people start becoming sexist? We’re not experts, but we think it has something to do with being rejected by women. Plenty of guys start asking girls out when they’re teenagers. This leaves us with: the r/teenagers thread. We’re not disappointed! One underage gentleman started out with a sexist comment about how girls are more annoying than guys.
When he got called out, he took it to the next level with the word we’re not going to repeat. Don’t worry though, he got what was coming to him: a comeback that was 100% accurate about his future love life. It won’t be long before this single bitter 16-year-old will become a single cranky 60-year-old.
Oh, So You Like Sports… Name Every Team
You’re a girl… and you like sports. Something isn’t right. Now you must name every single team in every sport in every country to prove you actually want them. Okay, okay, we’re exaggerating. Toxic men wouldn’t do something like this. Instead, they’d put you through little tests of their own, like this guy.
This toxic man was clearly in disbelief that a female could actually like baseball (probably because he has talked to 3 women in his whole life). Naturally, he put her up to the enormous challenge of naming the teams in the NL East conference. We don’t need a Google search to tell us that she schooled him.
We’ll Take the $100, Please
College is one of the most broken periods in your life. Students’ schedules often only allow them to work part-time, and even full-time positions usually don’t have the same salaries you could earn post-grad. So, it’s a great time when family visits and takes you out for a meal you don’t have to pay for.
Leave it to this toxic guy to make sexist generalizations over a perfectly normal college experience. Of course, this girl isn’t getting a degree to help her earn money. Of course, she took out a loan she can’t pay back and is free-loading from her parents. Just kidding. She’s studying biomedical engineering, knucklehead. Bye now!
Man Insults Woman, Then Gets Offended When She Defends Herself
We have a great headline for this text exchange if it would make it into a front page spot: Man Insults Woman, Then Gets Offended When She Defends Herself. It’s too bad texts like these happen so often no woman would consider them breaking news. What we’re seeing here are pretty standard mind games.
This guy creeped out his date but couldn’t take the rejection. He had to instigate a fight with her so that he could save his self-esteem, but this woman was not going to let him get away with it. She called him out for immaturely picking a fight with her after one bad date – it’s not like she even owed him a response. Of course, everything’s her fault now.
Pretty Girls Go to Harvard
Actors make their careers out of changing their behavior, attitude, and even physical appearance to fit into different roles. You can say what you want about them, but you can’t deny they’re versatile. This is why we’re so confused as to why toxic men still put actresses into a box… as if they can’t have other interests behind acting.
How could a pretty girl like Mira Sorvino know what pre-Nazi Germany was like? Thanks for asking, dummy. Sorvino wrote her thesis on the racial conflict at Harvard and contributed to a documentary that focused on Neo-Nazi hate groups, to name a few accomplishments. Meanwhile, this guy can’t put an apostrophe in the right place.
We Know You’re a 40-Year-Old Man
Some people like to go online to get as much attention as possible. This could look like constantly posting selfies to their Instagram or updating their Facebook status five times a day. But there’s much more sinister behavior out there, which is why we’re glad a Reddit user called out this toxic man.
He posted multiple times about being a “rare breed” of girls and being “submissive.” It’s clear what’s going on here: this is a 40-year-old dude pretending to be a girl so he can groom young boys on the r/teenager thread. He can’t get validation anywhere else, so he turns to this to get his needs met, it’s genuinely terrifying.
All Caps Means That It Has to Be True
Not familiar with the rules of the internet? You need to know: If you post something in all capital letters, divine law says it’s true. Therefore, an educated meteorologist with one: degree in physics and meteorology, two: years of background in aviation forecasting, and three: over a decade of experience as a broadcast meteorologist is IGNORANT because you said she was.
We’re of course referencing Craig Kelly’s comment about the accomplished Laura Tobin, who uses her education and platform to raise awareness about climate change. Instead of respectfully disagreeing with her opinion (which is backed by science) he called the scientist a “weather girl.” Many women spend years of their lives dedicated to a field and are still treated like this!
