Though they are absolutely a naval outfit, SEALs isn’t just a cute nickname. It’s also an acronym which stands for Sea Air and Land, which signifies the fact that SEALs are ready to operate in any environment at any time.

One of the specialties are High Altitude Low Opening jumps, where SEALs jump from 25,000 feet up, and open their shutes at only 500 feet above the ground. They can travel for over 20 miles in the air before settling on the ground.
