Millennial Fights Parents In Order To Keep Living In Their House

Posted by Hadassah

Being a Father

Whereas Michael needed his parents to understand that his focus was on getting custody of his son, his parents apparently were tired of supporting a lazy son who had fathered a child during his time living alone.

He had disregarded their gentle discussions, letters, and orders. Getting the intervention of the Onondaga County Supreme court proved like the only way out.

Being a Father

Michael acted as his own lawyer because he couldn’t afford one, and after studying the laws of the case he was confident that he could properly fend for himself. Justice Donald Greenwood did not need more than 30 minutes to show Michael his folly.

Greenwood sided with the couple, insisting that no reasonable person in his age would request a 6-month notice of eviction.
