 After narrowing the location of the lost C-130, Deeper Dorset has their sights set on another big prize. The team has found a number of artifacts from a fallen WWII-era P-47 aircraft, that had crashed into the sea in 1944.

Though a number of pieces of the plane have been dragged up over the years by dredgers, Knott and the Dorset team hope to find the missing wing, including the 40-caliber machine guns contained within it.

What Will They Think of Next?

They are also still on the case of the “missing” Hercules and mechanic, though it may take some time before they are able to finish telling this incredible story of a lovesick pilot and one of the most insane plans to reunite with a loved one in memory.
