After breaking the bad news to her dad before his passing, Cli said that her father had been heartbroken over the failed IVF treatments, and he was determined to do whatever he could to ensure that she could fulfill that dream and they could have their baby.

In that vein, her father Jim left her nearly $20000 to have one last shot at IVF. So, after Cli and Andy took a well-deserved vacation in Bali, they returned to Sims IVF to start the treatment Cli’s father had given them as a parting gift.
