Thank God for twitter because this needed to be said. It’s so baffling how people somehow don’t realize when they’re unmuted. There’s a mute button on the remote control for the TV and people seemed to have figured out how to use that just fine.

However, for some odd reason, if the host of the meeting didn’t set it so that all new participants are automatically muted upon entry, everyone decides that they have to talk out loud all at the same time. Is there by any chance a “ban these users” button that we should know about? Because we could really use one right about now.
