No one ever thought that the MTA would shut down the subways in New York City. How are we supposed to keep our daily rituals alive without being able to experience our daily subway rides where we are uncomfortably pressed up against people we don’t know all while holding onto a metal pole for dear life?

This guy is not going to let something as weak as a global pandemic keep him from getting his daily fill of subway joy, and is taking matters into his own hands. He’s got the full Canada Goose jacket, Ray bans, and headphones deep inside his ear canals just like any other day on the subway.

But if I saw this tweet 3 months ago, there wouldn’t be anything particularly funny about it. It actually is, like, really, really strange.
