Hungry Teen Carried Groceries For Doughnuts But Got Much More

“I just met the most inspiring person ever. His name is Chauncy Jones. He’s a 16-year-old from Memphis.” From the opening of Matt White’s post, it is clear that he is someone with a feel for people. How often can you say you have given a random sixteen-year-old the time of day, and then get to know them well enough to call them inspiring?

That is exactly what Matt White did on an innocuous trip to Kroger’s, his local grocery store. The encounter is heartwarming, but the storm that follows from Matt’s post, no one could have seen coming.
