Hilarious Texts People Received From Their Grandparents
Grandparents everywhere are slowly embracing modern technology. Whether it’s computers, iPads, or cell phones, they have no choice but to keep up because, well… how else will they keep in touch with their grandchildren?
For a generation that grew up with rotary phones, it can’t be easy for them to come to terms with the world of emojis, social media, and selfies.
But as with anything new, there’s always an adjustment period and a learning curve.
These grandparents are certainly persevering through the struggles of texting their grandchildren, determined to relate to their world.
Their attempts at texting are sweet, heart-warming but also laugh-out-loud hilarious, proving that these tech-savvy wannabes are the best thing to ever happen to technology.
Grandma’s In A Sh*tuation
This poor grandma has clearly confused her texting function with the google search engine and someone needs to show her the difference before she really embarrasses herself.
But let’s be real and ask the question we all want the answer to:
Grandma’s In A Sh*tuation
Why on earth are there poo stains in the rug?!
All we can say is, we hope Grandma has a dog, or we’re very concerned for her, or possibly for Grandpa.
Incontinence can be a real sh*tter in old age!
Hopefully, her grandkid was able to direct her to the proper way to search for a solution to her problems.
Happy April Fools
Technology allows us to stay up to date with the latest trending pranks, and this grandma doesn’t want to fall behind.
She’s determined to get a good April Fool’s prank in there and decided that her granddaughter is the perfect victim for her crime.
Who would have thought grandparents could have such a great sense of humor, even at 70 years old?
Happy April Fools
It also seems like she’s recently discovered the word “LOL” and is overusing it just a bit.
When grandparents try too hard to speak like the kids, you can’t help but laugh out loud.
See what we did there?
She Smells Nice
This is one of the funniest pieces of advice we’ve ever seen from a senior and also one of the weirdest.
Sure, someone smelling nice gives a good indication of whether they’re clean or not, but why is grandpa so focused on that?
She Smells Nice
She may be clean but is she a nice person?
This grandpa might find “texting fun,” but he needs to learn texting lingo if he wants to avoid any more awkward moments like this one.
Especially with his grandson.
Long Life Milk
Ok, this grandma has sass and we love it. We’re digging the SUBTLE grammar correction here, and wonder if it was the poor grammar or in fact, the bad joke that got her grandchild kicked out of her will?
Bet he’s not going to try any of those jokes with any of his other older family members!
Long Life Milk
Not only is this grandma 87, but she knows how to use a phone AND give as good as she gets.
If we were her grandkid, we’d just get her the long-life milk, goddammit before she does something worse!
Aren’t You Into Texting?
It’s all very nice when grandparents start to text, but when they make up their own abbreviations, it can reach a whole new level of frustration.
This grandma struggles to understand that while there are some standard well-known abbreviations, you just have to type everything else out in full.
Aren’t You Into Texting?
Maybe she simply doesn’t have the time to type out all her words, she’s too busy with her bridge and knitting buddies.
But we have to give her ten points for trying to be cool.
And also for the comedic factor of asking in disbelief whether or not her grandchild is into texting.
Does She Want Chicken Or Beef
What some of the older generations fail to understand, is that texting is the same as typing or writing using any platform.
This means that correct grammar still applies. And sometimes, a call is just easier!
It certainly would have been a lot easier to understand a phone call over this super confusing message.
Does She Want Chicken Or Beef
A few things that this old guy needs to take control of, is his overuse of full stops and capital letters.
Because everyone knows that using capital letters means you’re shouting, and we’d love to know why he gets so worked up over chicken or beef!
Grandma Basically Just Learned How To Yell
Another grandma who makes it very hard to tell if she’s yelling or she just doesn’t know how to type in lower case.
This adorable old lady is also oblivious to the clear affectionate teasing from her granddaughter, who uses caps to reply to her grandma.
Grandma Basically Just Learned How To Yell
To be fair to the old folk, we know it’s easier for them to read when things are written in caps and so it makes sense for them to type in it too.
But it doesn’t take away how aggressive it makes them sound, it just makes them look like they’re always yelling!
This Grandpa Loves Birds
Bless this grandpa, who doesn’t quite understand the phrase “love birds.”
He’s taken it a bit too literally and thinks his granddaughter is informing him of his enthusiasm for flighted feathered creatures – he’s even replied in letter format!
That’s just one of the most adorable things we’ve ever seen.
This Grandpa Loves Birds
We don’t know what’s sweeter, the fact that he didn’t question why she would state that he loves birds in an anniversary card, or that he goes into detail to explain why he loves them.
Either way, it’s all giving us the feels. The birds that live near him must be very lucky!
So Does This Grandma
Here’s another OAP who is just looking to share her love for pigeons with her grandchild and we think it’s the cutest thing ever.
Just look at the smile on her face — she’s in her element and beaming with joy.
She knows what brings her joy and, by God, she’s going to chase after it!
So Does This Grandma
The way she captions her photo so informatively is adorable and she clearly gets pleasure from sharing it with her family.
We sure hope they replied enthusiastically. Also is it just us, or are elderly people weirdly obsessed with birds?
Grandma Hasn’t Got The Hang Of Texting Yet
Ok someone needs to help this grandma out explain to her that if you type something that looks like… well, utter nonsense, you don’t have to press send.
That’s why the backspace button was invented — for when you make a mistake!
Clearly Grandma is not aware that it’s possible to erase what you’ve typed and try again.
Grandma Hasn’t Got The Hang Of Texting Yet
The best part is, all she was trying to do is ask her grandson Henry “what’s up?”
Maybe she sat on her phone, or maybe she couldn’t see the keys properly, but it looks like Henry has some teaching to do.
Grandma Hates Bras Now
Anna’s grandma Madeleine is quite possibly the coolest grandma ever, hands down.
Not only has she got the whole email thing down, but her emoji game is on point.
Grandma Hates Bras Now
And to top it off, she’s allowed her granddaughter to convince her that bras are the enemy and it’s time to set herself free from their shackles.
Looks like she’s getting into the second wave feminism a little bit late, but better late than never we guess?
Her “bra-burning ceremony” sounds like one we want to be invited to because frankly, grandma Madeleine sounds like a laugh.
Grandma Is Confused
This is one of our favorites. Not only does this grandma not have a clue how texting works, but her use of the word “scrap” is adorable.
Clearly she is against the use of any foul language.
Replying to yourself in real life is never a good sign, but when you reply to your own text…
Grandma Is Confused
We’re also not sure how she didn’t take the picture of her husband proudly showing off his freshly caught fish as an indication that it was her own text.
Also, we love how proud grandpa looks with his catch.
Basically, we love it all.
Grandma Is Falling Apart
We’re not sure what exactly this grandma means when she says she’s falling apart, but it seems like it might be in more ways than one.
We love how elderly folk just express all their aches and pains so openly.
Hopefully she’s doing okay, though. Did her grandkid call to check on her, maybe she needs help?
Grandma Is Falling Apart
Does anyone know the official age when it becomes socially acceptable to express all your body function fails to anyone and everyone?
Because this grandma is there! We can only hope her grandson offers her some love and assistance.
Grandma Is Getting Excited
Well, this might be one of the strangest messages to ever receive from your grandma! And when we say strange, we mean creepy and disturbing.
These are not the types of things a sweet ol’ grandma should be saying, especially to her grandchildren!
We’re not sure what possessed her to send such a strange message to her grandkid, but she should definitely stop immediately.
Grandma Is Getting Excited
We don’t know what’s weirder: the fact that Jim Parsons — Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory — sexual preferences are something that excites this grandma, or her “yummy” comment.
Either way, we’re getting uncomfortable vibes from this interaction.
Eat What Now?
We don’t really know what to make of this text.
Does this grandma have a sick and twisted mind or does she have a really dark sense of humor? Or maybe this is just a case of autocorrect gone terribly wrong?
Imagine the mental scars you’d be left with after receiving this text from your grandmother!
Eat What Now?
Nothing says happy thanksgiving like a creepy and inappropriate text from your grandma ordering you to eat her t*ts.
That’s a no thank you from us, grandma! Kudos to her grandchild who handled the situation like a champ.
Grandma Loves God
In case you thought this strange text was sent in the context of a related conversation about the existence of God and the universe, the caption from the girl who received it makes it clear just how random it was!
Seems like her grandma is a fan of sending out nuggets of wisdom to whoever first pops into her mind.
Grandma Loves God
They say that the sign of a good grandma is one that always keeps you on your toes.
Whether it’s with surprise gifts or being informed that God is not dead, it’s good to stay alert at all times.
Grandma Wants To Keep You Safe
Ok, we can’t cope with how sweet this grandma is. She is just too cute, sending her grandaughter this cautionary message about wanting to keep her safe from the perils of a black hair dye that “can be very dangerous, causing death.”
Maybe her granddaughter wasn’t even thinking of dying her hair, but she’s letting her know of the risks just in case!
Grandma Wants To Keep You Safe
This is what grandmas are for: to keep us safe from all the bad things out there in the big wide world.
This grandma has fulfilled her duties and she certainly has the text to prove it.
Grandmom Hates Justin Beiber
This one had us laughing out loud. All this granddaughter is trying to do is teach her grandmom about pop culture, but it’s not quite sinking in.
Grandmom’s reply sounds like she’s writing a novel and Grandpa sounds hilarious.
Grandmom Hates Justin Beiber
We don’t know what’s funnier, her description of exactly how their interaction went, or what her thoughts about Justin Beiber are.
And we don’t know why she hates Beiber quite so much, but we do know how strongly she feels about pop culture — and it’s not good.
Fear Of Social Media
Grandparents just don’t get social media. Usually, it’s funny, but when it ends up screwing you over, it can get pretty annoying.
We feel the pain of this guy, who just wanted to get into the garage and asked his grandpa for the code.
But grandpa isn’t about to let that propriety information out into the world.
Fear Of Social Media
But the fear of putting private information on what he thought was social media, stopped his grandpa from giving it to him.
Props to the elderly gentleman on his online safety awareness though.
There was a method to his madness.
Grandpa Hasn’t Mastered Texting Yet
We know this grandchild is being sarcastic, but we just have to point out the obvious: this grandpa is NOT pretty good at this whole texting thing. Or maybe he has improved since the last time the two of them spoke.
We don’t know what he’s trying to achieve in this interaction or who he thinks he’s talking to.
Grandpa Hasn’t Mastered Texting Yet
But his final comment is what got us. Is he congratulating himself and his texting abilities (or lack thereof) or is he being sarcastic?
We’ll never know but we sure hope his texting has improved.
Grandpa Isn’t Impressed By His New Grandchild
It’s clear at this point that elderly people fall into one of two categories when it comes to texting: the ones who can’t stop talking and the ones who choose their words carefully.
And it’s pretty clear which group this grandpa falls into. He is clearly a man of very few words, but those few words speak volumes.
Grandpa Isn’t Impressed By His New Grandchild
Imagine sharing a picture of your newborn child to your grandpa — his great-grandchild — and receiving “Ok” in response.
It’s pretty brutal… at least fake some enthusiasm, even if you don’t feel it!
We hope he’s just having an off day.
Grandpa Loves Abbreviations
Bless this grandpa who doesn’t realize that making up acronyms isn’t how texting works.
But they’ve gotta start somewhere, right? Not only that but writing the acronym out in full kind of defeats the purpose of writing it in the first place.
Maybe grandpa is going to start a new trend with one of his brand new abbreviations.
Grandpa Loves Abbreviations
We also love how hip and cool this grandpa is trying to sound, by letting his grandson know that he’s just “hanging out.”
This adorable interaction between the generations shows us just hard they are trying to bridge the gap.
Grandpa Still Needs To Learn Logistics
Bless this grandpa who may have learned how to text photos, but he still has some logistics to think through.
He doesn’t understand that his granddaughter can’t read the text he’s sent her because she doesn’t have her phone.
But he’s trying his best, we have to at least give him credit for that.
Grandpa Still Needs To Learn Logistics
And that’s because her phone is on the table where she left it… which is why her grandpa is messaging her.
We’re sure that when she eventually explains it to him, he’ll see the humor in it. Maybe. If he gets it.
It’s What Jesus Would Have Wanted
Where to even begin with this one? Should we start with the fact that this guy’s grandma is using the fact that he’s circumcised to pimp him out to Jewish girls?
Or, should we talk about how they “LOVED it” (gross!)
We think that grandpa needs to lay off the matchmaking, it’s clearly not his forte.
It’s What Jesus Would Have Wanted
Or how desperate she is for her grandson to have “beautiful Jewish Catholic babies” because “it’s what Jesus would have wanted – forgiveness.”
So many strange things in one text. And clearly, her grandson feels the same judging by his response.
Practice Makes Perfect Grandma
Leon was only trying to help his grandma, but we bet he regrets texting her now.
And he’s going to have to take his offer very seriously because his grandma certainly needs a lot of help learning how to text.
It looks like she’s going to need at least a few hours of instruction before she learns how to text anything coherently.
Practice Makes Perfect Grandma
We salute his patience because her responses are hilarious.
We can’t explain why, but we laughed so hard at the autocorrect fail at the end. For some reason, when she typed “OK,” it autocorrected to “Oklahoma” and it’s just too funny.
We Didn’t See That One Coming
What a text to receive on your 17th birthday! It starts off with a sweet birthday greeting, followed by some emojis.
Then, it gets weirdly informative, with grandma recalling how much her grandson weighed. Then comes the massive plot twist.
We Didn’t See That One Coming
She throws in the gruesome end of her 6 foot 5 uncle who served in the army.
We’re not sure what she was hoping to achieve at this point, but at least she wishes him a good day?
Grandparents have a tendency to share seemingly unrelated stories at random times, but we’re sure that grandma had some reason for sharing that grim tale!
Grandma’s Sense Of Humor
Ok so before we even start on the content of this message, is anyone else as bothered as we are that there are 523 unread texts?
We don’t know how anyone can live like that, but that’s not the point here.
The point is this unfortunate and complicated situation, which grandma is describing in a very bizarre way.
Grandma’s Sense Of Humor
We’re loving the way that this grandma is turning a tough situation into a humorous one for her family.
Unfortunately, grandparents can be in and out of the hospital, and this sort of attitude can make things easier for everyone.
Well Ok Then
Wow, ok, that escalated quickly! What started as a sweet and innocent question to her grandchild turned into a pretty dark piece of news.
Elderly people really have a talent for talking about death in a totally casual way. Maybe it’s because they’ve already had to deal with death so many times before?
Well Ok Then
They seem to have no problem answering a perfectly innocent question with disturbing news and leaving you utterly speechless.
We suppose that’s one of the sad parts about getting old.
We hope her grandchild was sitting down when they received this message!
You’ve Got Mail
While it’s sweet that this grandma is actively encouraging her grandchild’s keen interest in insects, we think she might be taking it a bit too far by mailing them in the post.
Imagine being this kids mom and opening that letter!
You’ve Got Mail
Especially because it sounds like the scorpion might still be alive.
We have no doubt that she would likely faint at the very sight of it.
We think it would have been funnier if she just posted them without any explanation — we’d have loved to see the face of whoever opened that package!
You’ll Never Learn If You Don’t Ask
The virtual world is full of terms that can be very confusing for those who do not use social media, especially when they are conflicting with normal social etiquette.
We feel for this grandma, who must be super confused by her virtual “poke.” And it seems like she doesn’t like it one little bit.
You’ll Never Learn If You Don’t Ask
She probably took it offensively, but good for her for clarifying and seeking the answer from her social media savvy grandchild.
Where the young once asked the elderly, the tables have turned.
Look who’s seeking advice from who now.
Silly Potato
This is the sweetest grandma we’ve come across.
Not only is she loving towards her husband, but her response to her granddaughter is heartwarming as well. She tries a few more times to send the text to her husband, but to no avail.
Seems like she just can’t figure out how to get the news to grandpa!
Silly Potato
Eventually, she tries one last time and catches herself out this time. Instead of waiting for her granddaughter to tell her she’s made a mistake, she berates herself, calling herself a “silly potato.” We’re melting from how cute she is!
When Grandma Is Cooler Than You
They say that age is just a number and this granny is here to prove it.
This grandma is not only trying to be cool by texting, but also trying to look hip at the same time. By using hand signals, knocking back jello shots, and using slang, she’s the coolest grandma around!
When Grandma Is Cooler Than You
Grandma isn’t going to let her age stop her from having fun, she’s going to live life to the fullest!
And even better than that, she takes selfies. This might be the most millennial grandma we’ve ever seen and she’s owning it big time!
Go, grandma, go!
What Exactly is Grandma Trying to Say?
Now, we’ve all gotten messages that were sent to us totally randomly and without any context. But maybe none as bizarre as this text from this person’s Grandma!
Is she trying to communicate some kind of secret message? Or perhaps grandma was trying to purchase a magic octopus and couldn’t figure out how to use the search engine?
What Exactly is Grandma Trying to Say?
Whatever the reason may be, it certainly seems like grandma has a much more interesting life than anyone gave her credit for!
We think this is worth a nice, long sit down chat with grandma to ask her about her hobbies.
Speech to Text Gone Terribly Wrong
Speech to text is a very useful tool for people who are trying to be more hands free with their phone.
Unfortunately, sometimes people have it on without realizing it. And that’s especially common amongst grandmas and grandpas who are still in the process of learning all their phone’s features.
Speech to Text Gone Terribly Wrong
From the looks of this message, Grandma Jane is not a huge fan of her new phone. She also seems to be a pretty polite lady, apologizing to the phone for her cussing!
Hopefully, someone will teach her how this function works so she won’t need to worry about her phone recording her.
Gran Doesn’t Know Her Email Address
This Twitter user had a pretty funny, and maybe somewhat typical, text message exchange with his grandma.
All he wanted to do was get her email, maybe to write her a nice letter or send her a virtual birthday card.
Looks like Aaron is going to have to get her email from someone else because grandma can’t figure it out!
Gran Doesn’t Know Her Email Address
The only thing she could figure out how to type in response to his straightforward question was, “Okay doky”.
Aaron seems to be equal parts frustrated and amused, but as an uninvolved party, we just think it’s hilarious.
Grandma Got a Little Too Excited
Grandma was pretty excited to break out of her new piece of technology. After all, what could be more exciting than picking up a new tablet for yourself, especially from a brand as coveted as Apple.
But it seems like grandma isn’t exactly a master of her new tech just yet, she might need a little bit of help.
Grandma Got a Little Too Excited
For starters, it seems like she still hasn’t figured out how to type, or to do a backspace and delete a mistake before sending out her text.
And for the love of God, help her turn off her autocorrect before it’s too late!
You Got a New…Son?
This elderly mom must have certainly surprised her family when she sent a message about getting a new son!
But wait, she didn’t mean to write son, she meant to write…sun? Fon? Fun?
Seems like she’s having a pretty hard time typing her message out, maybe someone should just give her a call.
You Got a New…Son?
At the end of her message, she adds that she wanted everyone to know that she can now text.
We’re not so sure how true that statement is!
Her kid doesn’t give her too hard of a time about it, she just thanks her for the message and moves on.
That’s Not the “Send” Button, Gramps
At first, it looks like Grandpa just sent his grandkid a SUPER long message. But upon closer inspection, it appears that he just couldn’t figure out that he had to press “send” instead of the enter key on his phone’s keyboard.
The message he ended up sending was definitely not the most interesting thing in the world.
That’s Not the “Send” Button, Gramps
His grandkid seems to feel comfortable poking fun at his grandpa’s challenges texting. But the grandpa doesn’t seem to be taking it too hard, apparently, he’s very aware that he’s not the best with technology.
Don’t worry, grandpa, you’ll master it soon!
An Important Message from Grandpa
Speaking of random messages to get from your grandparents, this one has to be the most confusing we have ever seen! Surely it is good news to hear that your grandfather is still alive, but was there any cause to believe he wasn’t?
It seems like there might be something grandpa isn’t telling here.
An Important Message from Grandpa
Maybe he just went through a near death experience and is now sharing the good news of his survival?
Or maybe he’s just a grandparent who has a bit too much free time and wants to reconnect with his family members.
That definitely seems a lot more likely.
A Way Around the Texting Mistakes
This grandparent certainly found a way around the whole texting challenges! Instead of bothering with pesky auto correct or not being able to backspace, this grandpa simply wrote out his message on a piece of paper and took a photo of it!
It may be a pretty roundabout way of getting the message across, but hey, whatever works for him!
A Way Around the Texting Mistakes
And how thoughtful of him as well, letting his family members know the proper way to set their clocks for daylight savings.
Wouldn’t everyone want to have such a thoughtful, and inventive, grandparent?
Grandma’s Studying for Jeopardy
Sometimes grandparents who are in retirement have lots of free time on their hands. Usually, they will take up hobbies like golf, or maybe they’ll run through the entire series of Game of Thrones on Netflix.
Looks like this grandma is using her free time learning all kinds of new things!
Grandma’s Studying for Jeopardy
And she’s so excited about the new knowledge she’s picked up that she wants to share it with her family.
We only wonder what exactly she was researching that caused her to come across this interesting fact.
Maybe she’s vying for a spot on a trivia game show?
1 2 3 Testing
Looks like Nana has got a new phone and wants to figure out how the text feature works before making any mistakes. That definitely seems to be a good idea, although we’re sure her grandkid was a little confused to get this message.
Maybe it’s a signal for them to give grandma a little texting tutorial before things get out of hand.
1 2 3 Testing
In fact, maybe all cellphones and other gadgets should be sold alongside a manual especially made for older people. If that were to exist maybe they wouldn’t make so many texting mistakes.
But then again, it would be a lot less entertaining for us!
Grandma’s Got an Eye on Your Facebook Photos
One of the biggest downsides of social media is that sometimes your family members pay TOO close attention to it. Apparently whatever Jessica was sharing online gave her grandma the inclination that she wasn’t hitting the books hard enough.
So she decided to send this text message to remind her about what’s really important.
Grandma’s Got an Eye on Your Facebook Photos
It also looks like she’s fishing for some ideas for a Christmas gift, that is, so long as Jessica starts taking school a bit more seriously!
And before it could even be suggested, grandma clarifies that weed and booze are not acceptable Christmas gift ideas.
A Unique Grandma/Grandkid Relationship
This grandma and her grandkid definitely seem to have a very unique relationship. For starters, she’s saved in their phone under a very cool nickname, “Gmuh”. Not grandma, granny, or even nana.
Then it looks like they have conversations using primarily emojis. And grandma is having an absolute blast with it!
A Unique Grandma/Grandkid Relationship
It’s great that this grandkid can have such a cool dynamic with their grandma, we bet their grandma is thrilled to get these kinds of fun messages.
And she’s so encouraging too! Telling her grandkid that they’re “just rockin it” and that they are her “BFF”!
Grandpa is Not Mincing Words
This grandkid just wanted to check in on their grandfather, send them a friendly message and ask him how he’s doing. But it looks like grandpa has a bit of a deadpan sense of humor, that or he’s just a super straight forward type of man.
Maybe it’s worth paying him a visit to make sure he isn’t feeling too depressed!
Grandpa is Not Mincing Words
Sometimes older people have just been through so much in life that they don’t take things too hard, and it makes them very straightforward and direct.
Hopefully, this grandkid was at least able to brighten up their day.
Just Flip the Phone the Other Way
Grandma Helen definitely seems like the thoughtful and sentimental type of grandma, sending out Christmas wishes to the whole family. She even got grandpa and the family dog to pose in the picture together.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t seem to figure out which way she was supposed to hold the camera!
Just Flip the Phone the Other Way
Don’t worry grandma, it’s easy enough to just flip the photo the right way around. But now all of Twitter knows that you have yet to master the art of the selfie.
But don’t worry, you’ll figure it out eventually, maybe your granddaughter can even give you some pointers!
Somebody Figure Out Where Grandma Is!
This is a pretty alarming message to get from your grandma, but it’s also so confusing that we doubt their grandkid would be able to figure out what they need. Clearly she is in need of help, it appears that she might be lost.
But instead of sending an address or location, she sent her coordinates.
Somebody Figure Out Where Grandma Is!
We don’t think that’s the proper way to send latitude and longitude, not that it would be particularly helpful if she had sent it the correct way.
We hope this grandkid called their grandma right away and figured out some way to help her in the end.
Can’t Figure Out Where the Cell Number Is
This person’s grandpa, weirdly enough named “Daddy V”, seems to not understand how the texting feature of his phone works. Someone needs to tell him that he just needs to hit that contact button and he’ll have the cellphone number of whoever he’s texting.
After all, you can’t send a text message without a phone number in the first place.
Can’t Figure Out Where the Cell Number Is
But maybe Alexa here could be a little more helpful in explaining that concept to him.
As funny as grandparents getting confused over technology is, it’s our job as their family to help them figure it all out.
A Lonely Cow Under a Full Moon
Grandparents can sure have a good time with their phone cameras, sometimes they are fascinated by all kinds of things. In this grandma’s case, she was enamored by this image of a cow underneath a full moon.
She loved this moment so much that she was compelled to photograph it and sent it to one of her grandkids.
A Lonely Cow Under a Full Moon
Hopefully, they are as interested in this lonely cow as much as their grandma is.
Or if not, hopefully, they were at least able to fake enough polite interest to make their grandma feel good about sharing her photo.
The Weirdest Photo to Get from Grandma
Speaking of the photos that grandparents send, this certainly seems like a very strange one to get! This granddaughter was probably totally shocked and surprised to get a photo of a pair of boxer briefs.
Seeing as she probably doesn’t wear this kind of underwear, why would her grandma be sending her this photo?
The Weirdest Photo to Get from Grandma
An even better question might be, why did grandma take this photo in the first place?? Is this an old pair of grandpa’s underwear?
Did she simply find this mysterious pair of underwear in the laundry?
This granddaughter seems to want the answers just as much as we do!
They Already Got Your Message, Grandma
Grandma seems to be unaware that she already sent the same message before, three times in fact. Someone needs to tell her that when she sends a message the other person actually receives it.
Instead of waiting for her grandkid to answer, she is simply sending the same message over and over again.
They Already Got Your Message, Grandma
Has she noticed that her grandkid has already answered her question or is she still sending the same message over and over waiting for something to happen?
Maybe her grandkid ought to just dial up their grandma instead of waiting for her to try and figure texting out.
Grandpa Learned a New Emoji!
Learning how to text can be a really exciting learning experience for grandparents. Between all the chat lingo and emojis, they can have a whole lot of fun settling into their new form of communication.
This Grandpa here was apparently super enthusiastic about discovering this bee emoji.
Grandpa Learned a New Emoji!
Looks like he’s embellishing all his messages with it now, whether there is a context for them or not.
His grandkid should teach him a few other emojis, just so he won’t be stuck using the same one over and over again.
May we suggest the monkey covering its eyes emoji? Works for all conversations!
