Clearly Not Following Directions

This could go in a dictionary as the definition of doing the opposite of what you’re told. Putting out a sign that thanks someone for actions they’ve yet to do is definitely a psychological tactic. Unfortunately, the efforts of this sign were for nothing. Someone saw their chance and went for it. Sometimes it’s too tempting to leave a sign like this unchallenged.

It’s anyone’s guess where a sign like this would be posted. Your first guess was probably a classroom. Where else would there be an abundance of whiteboards? In general, this should be a pretty clear boundary that doesn’t need signage. It seems like in its effort to diminish wall writing, this sign inspired the exact opposite.
