Spraying over the graffiti removal hotline is irony at its best. The fact they didn’t just paint over it but also drew a stick figure as the culprit makes it all the better. It looks like the graffiti itself is the thing defending itself. Even though this is clearly vandalism, you can’t help but laugh at the whole thing.

What’s also ironic is that the graffiti removal sign looks like graffiti in itself. It’s just painted on a wall for everyone to see. It makes you realize that defining something as graffiti instead of art is in the eye of the beholder. Nowadays, there are graffiti tours in certain cities and monuments left to the murals that people created. It all depends on how you look at it.
