A Helpful Friend from the Past

Looks like there’s a graffiti artist here who’s aware that some vandalism isn’t always a welcome thing. If this little paperclip character doesn’t look familiar you probably never used the older versions of Microsoft Word. This little guy was supposed to help you with any technical problems you might run into, so it’s natural he would be recruited to assist in graffiti removal! 

The only option he poses is to locate the nearest paint store, which seems to be the most direct and obvious solution. Though he puts himself at risk of being painted over if the nearest paint store is located, so it’s a bit of a bittersweet outcome for him. He ends up being helpful while simultaneously erasing his existence.
