Getting together with family isn’t always a treat. When you’re young it typically means lots of food and compliments, but once you get a little older the hard-hitting questions come at you. It feels like a quick-fire round on a game show, and you don’t have any of the correct answers. It’s enough to scare any young adult away. 

No one wants to have to justify their college major, their relationship status, or future wedding plans. Can’t we just sit down and eat like everyone else? Why do we need to be subjected to all the scrutiny? Maybe if you keep your mouth constantly full you’ll have an excuse not to answer.
